Why are people hyping Uncharted so much?

That gae offers nothing we havent already seen.They should be making another Jax and Daxter.

Because it interests them, irregardless of what you think about the game.

And even if it isn't a system seller for you, it could be for others. Heck it doesn't even have to be a seller, it just needs to motivate people to buy a PS3 along with other titles in the library. That or they like the game despite the fact it has shooting. We've all seen that before. I can't believe that the game has the audacity to use guns and rocks.

And trees, trees are so unoriginal.

so many games that should not be hyped get hyped. its the way it is. dont expect all these hyped games to get 9 or up.

but yah, i feel for this post. lol. uncharted does look like everything else. almost like assassins creed. lol i am gonna get someone hating lol.

i say play these games before we all start hyping them. ah but its normal. get used to it. nothing against any game, i seriosly cannot judge a game based on a vid off the net.

Urggh NO. this game looks amazing. Stop asking for friggin platformers, it's all about New IP's. This looks like 3D version of FLASHBACK. Graphics are excellent and it looks to have a great story too.

I mean, it has pretty graphics, which everyone here seems to think indicates great gameplay. But on seeing videos of the gameplay, it really looks like it has elements of Prince of Persia or Ico puzzle-type exploring (i.e. you see a point in the distance you want to get to, so you have to jump around and climb, and figure out the pre-set way to get there, which does involve some thought), and some shooting, which of course we have all seen before. Maybe it will be fun, but it is certainly not a reason to get a PS3. Stop hyping it. accameron

Why stop hyping it? It has great gameplay thanx to amazing animation, and the environments look awesome and theres lots of fun platforming. The combination of those things makes it a great game.

Since when does something have to be 'new" to be great ? It looks great , it looks fun , and when you put a great first party developer behind a classic style game .... wow.

Oh you didn't know? People here hype games from screenshots. Drakes Fortune is probably the least interesting game I've seen on the PS3..but boy does it look spiffy, reminds me of an over-polished Tomb Raider. Heavenly Sword looks better and is more interesting than any other game on PS3.

It's definately one of the more interesting titles. I wish it wasn't exclusive. So far I'll be missing out on Lair, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, God Of War 3, and whatever Team ICO has in store. Forza 2, PGR4, and there sequals will satisfy my GT5 crave.

Those are some great looking PS3 games. I wish Sony would have handled the PS3 a lot differently, but they kept with the lies and I wasn't putting up with it.

Because there is a lack of great games on the PS3 and Sony fans buys anything regardless of fun. When you pay a console 500$ no taxes and one game (50$) no taxes, how can you come to say that your disappointed ? You would look like a total failure at life. So you find arguments to make you believe that you have made the right choice !
