Even gamespot, I watched On the spot awhile ago and they were complaining that Home will have tons of Ads. Even other gamers are complaining about these. First of all Home is freaking free, the ads are the ones whose gonna pay for all the hardwork, servers and maintenance. And btw theres freaking ads on stuff that arent free like movies, games and even xbox live. They basically show an Ad in live then affiliate it to a game.
The other thing people complain is Sony is selling extra stuff like clothes etc. First of all why are you complaining?You dont need to buy these stuff, its your choice.Games will include this things, so you can basically customize your avatar by buying games. And whose the moron whose thinking that they will sell a pair of sneakers for $1, Sony isnt dumb theyre gonna sell it in packages or in cents. These stuff is alot better than live's gamer pics and skins, cmon Jpegs?

I thinks it's cool and has great potential. But the term innovation thing rubbs people the wrong way. This idea is hardly new.
I wouldn`t call it a huge innovation, it is after all sims and secondhome`s ugly cusin. it is a nice addition however bit that`s it... nice. I`ll take a good game over home anyday, and that`s what PS3 needs, good games., not a "chat engine".
here is my one reason to be down on homr.... useless expendature of company assets. instead of giving us this useless crappy clone of myspace,2nd life,some live functions and mii's they could be using the time,money, and company abbilities to lower ps3s price make it easier to dev for, and secure better games so i have a reason to spend the kind of money they ask for. i am a video game collector i own multiple copies of every major system for the past 15-20 years as well as a modest stable of over 400 games it will hurt my collection cred if i dont buy a system atleast at some point.....and the way ps3 is going i wont ever have a reason to get it..

I appreciate the nod, but I actually wouldn't like to be a mod, because I don't like the idea of having the responsibility of penalizing people all the time. I dont remember anything about christ in the video but since u brang it up, why would u say that? To me it is an amazing feature to have for ps3 consumers, and I understand how ppl who dont own the system feel, but hey its not our fault u choose to go with other platforms and leave the ps3 out. I own a ps3 and an xbox 360 and still waiting for a wii to ship since der aint any in stock but why even complain about it, u should be happy that sony did this, because now MS and Nintendo can counter and maybe create something even better, and this is why its great having competition, because this way, it just keeps getting better and better for us consumers, if there wasnt any competition, it would be just the same old thing and they wouldnt have to go out and try an make new things because there wouldnt be no one else to push them to even have to go and do so. So this is a no brainer, that every gamer should be happy that sony has stepped up and did something because now MS and Nintendo can do something about it and we can all be happy. :)
It bothers me for a few reasons. The biggest of which being: - Cows hold "Home" up as "teh savior of teh ps3" - yet, essentially, it's the Sims Online with a different name. :|
