Why are people still talking about Halo 3?

I mean why? and yes I know its the most played game online, but why are we still talking about it? It only sold close to 10 milion and it only has a 1/3 attach rate? I just dont get it, please clue me in....

It's a good game? Pretty much the only reason.

Apart from when Lems need to use it as "ownage", which gets old, fast.

There are still people who like it and play it. Lots. In fact, more than a lot of new games that are out right now. That right there makes it enough to be a topic of conversation. As for your second sentence, I'm going to assume your trying to troll out lems.

Master Chief is pretty much the poster child for microsoft now, like Mario and Link are for Nintendo. Sony doesn't really have one, but they have gobs of third party characters.

While I rarely play it anymore H3 still has insane legs....What was the number released on how many matches have been played? The total sales for the game is crazy...and they just continue to grow...That impressive however you want to try to spin it

I think Halo comes up more in cow's threads then they do lems.....That tells yea something about how strong the game STILL is...

halo 3 doesn't have to be bad for killzone 2 to be good children just play your games and take a nap

I'm guessing both. Simply put the consensus that while KZ2 is a graphically stunning game, more people prefer Halo 3 in terms of popularity. People need to get off of this BS about pitting these two games against each other.

yes ps3 owners just deperately needed a killer FPS and they will do anything to rationalize (JUST LIKE CHRISTIANS!) anyway besides incredible audiovisuals killzone 2 is just so so textbook i have no idea why some can't see past it, if it had call of duty 4 graphics we wouldn't be talking about this game.

2 - Its one of the best selling exclusives ever

I agree with this. At least its one of my favourite consoles ever....and i play games since 80s :P

well, maybe it has something to do with the Ad campaign they had to go with that game... it was really memorable.

as for the game itself? ummm close to 10 mill... on 1 platform... you do know that that is very very good, right? I can think of only Nintendo games that has surpassed that. apart from the PC games: Sims, and wow.

that aside... I did like the 1st one, but both 2 and 3, were not really in my taste...

every other shooter tries for the same thing and plays the same way, rumble cover to cover, 2 shot kills, take cover allies vs. axis lol

there is no other shooter like halo

it is the most played game online. people enjoy playing the game. iam2green
