Physics is part of graphics right? So why do sheep make it seem like the only thing the Wii is missing is stunning looking games?

because next gen physics hasnt been amazing at this point on either PS3 or 360 to really say they are missing something.

physics is the connection between graphics and gameplay. it has always been one of the most important parts for me when concidering a game.

The physics and interactivity in crysis does look supremely special to be fair. I mean its doing something no game has even come close to doing yet.

the game is an absolute beast from a technical standpoint. Other than that there isnt anything special in the physics department.

I don't know. In some games the difference is pretty huge from last generation to this one. Oblivion compared to Morrowind for example. Almost every game I have played has had a good amount of improvement in physics and animation over their last generation counter-parts.

What do people mean by phyiscs? Complex calculations applied to determine trajectories of a few objects (ie rag doll)? Simple physics applied to determine the trajectories of large numbers of objects (ie destructable environments)? Calculations applied to extremely high numbers of objects but which have little to no interaction with the environment (ie particle effects)? Making a game 'feel' right in terms of gravity etc?

The last is the hardest to do, is the most important in my book, and requires the least processing power.

I don't see a lack of physics in wii games. the objects in elebits look like they interact just like those in other games.
