Why are so many people posting PS3 success threads?

Yes, the PS3 is starting to have a strong exclusive library. But honestly guys, hasn't the Xbox 360 had a strong exclusive library for years? Yes the PS3 is getting back on track as a console but thats what its supposed to have done in the first place.

I wouldn't exactly say exclusive now, but it does have a good library.

The threads are pointless, I agree. Still, it's really growing into it's own, which is something exciting. I'd rather have 3 good consoles, than just 2.

Well, that's because about 50-60% of Gamespot is made up of cows, and they're probably still arrogant over the PS2. So when the PS3 does something right, they have to rub it in on everyone else. =/

It's not like the 360 really had an untouchable beginning. It wasn't that much better than the ps3's early start really. People have clouded memories and perceptions (probably most because of sales and a lack of a Gamespot AAA score).

I seem to remember the 360 having a pretty healthy line-up of exclusives in its first year and no giant enemy crabs. :P

Most analysts think the recession has actually managed to lengthen the expected lifespan of the PS3 and especially the X360. The 360 is profitable, moving to a new system that would likely be sold at a loss would be silly in this economic climate. Though it would be interesting to see MS launch new hardware that would be the same price as the suddenly last gen PS3.RandolphScott

I really do not care if the PS3 finishes third this gen. Im having so much fun with it and all the awesome games released for it and that will be released for it. If being in third means I still get to play some great games then so be it. Hopefully Sony learned a lesson this gen and gets it's act together next gen. They cant keep bleeding cash like they are doing now.

becuz killzone 2 makes ps3s first 2 years irrelevant? kidding jajaja. becuz its obvious the games relasesed are making 360 hardware obsolete that is why m$ is scrambling to get a new xbox out.

YOu see Pro Sony threads because they're the ones announcing games.
