Seriously, it looks like a PS3 game. Was this supposed to be last gen or something? Any Xbox One game and many Wii U games look better than this. Is this supposed to be a next gen exclusive?

Because the footage is old and because From is a small studio with a small budget. Duh.
What kind of stupid ass question is that?
if you care so much about graphics why are you an xbone fanboy?
because the games are fun and look awesome.
I've been saying this forever. It's a PS3+ graphically...but it's the gameplay that excites the niche crowd this game will draw.
It's going to be a good game, but graphically it's not going to excel. There is always the possibility of a sequel if we see amazing sales.
Small studio, old build. Though don't expect them too pull any the order like graphics. The team numbers weren't there for it, but hell from that video I'm more pumped too see how this game turns out then I ever was the order. I'll taker graphics after gameplay and story any day. Like em all in a single package but A great story/world with great gameplay will keep me going far longer then something like ryse (which on pc is gorgeous).
It doesn't look amazeballs, but it's not bad either. I dig the style.
That said, I don't give a ****. I'm in it for the gameplay. Come to think of it, if you look at the best games of the gen so far, none of them have been "graphics king" contenders.
Also this.

And this.

This game would be better if it had Toad from Captain Toad Treasure Tracker.
There were already walking mushrooms in a Souls game and we know how that turned out
Because it focus on great gameplay which is the most important part of gaming. Mh4u is not that good looking but the gameplay is great and that is all that matter. I also hope gaming go back to the golden age where gameplay it important and not this story/cutscenes bs but as looks right now it looks like movie games are winning and that is sad.

And with this hypocritical post we can sum up your thread to being nothing but a rant of a jealous, insecure and contradicting fanboy.
Sorry there is nothing on xbone that looks as fun and awesome as Bloodborne. So if you had any credibility coming into this thread making your argument, you just killed it.
Previewers say the graphics are amazing, not that it matters much since it will probably have the best gameplay of any game released so far, but it's funny seeing you stick you foot in your mouth none the less.
if you care so much about graphics why are you an xbone fanboy?

lol, so why are you worried about Bloodborne graphics again? Oh, right, it's a PS4 exclusive and you are a xbone fanboy.
If you think it looks bad now imagine how horrible it would look on the xbone...
It would look literally identical albeit possibly running at 900p if not 1080p as well, the game doesn't look that demanding. You don't seem to understand how computer hardware works, slightly weaker hardware doesn't equate to the game needing to be gimped graphically, they can draw things back like resolution and maintain the graphics quality completely if they need to.
Looks really good actually, about The Witcher 3 level.
No lol, it's no where near TW3, not even in the same galaxy in terms of graphical fidelity or scale.
Leave him. He's obviously insecure since he knows that Witcher 3 is just around the corner with graphics far exceeding that of the level of on rails Sony exclusives while also on a unprecedented scale unlike his precious exclusives. Of course he will try to downplay it. Kind of a per-emptive DC if you will.
On topic, because it's a From Software game.

I've been saying it since forever too, however it has always been the case that people bashed me for it. What is more, they were claiming otherwise, that it's one of the most graphically impressive titles into this gen so far...BTW I don't have an agenda since I'm an enthusiast of Souls-like games.
I think it looks really good. Admittedly not holding its own on any technical level, but the actual aesthetic design of the game is terrific. Plus it's bound to play supremely well and that's what really fucking matters to me, because Sony hasn't published a good playing game since well The Last of Us, so it's been awhile. Allegedly Tearaway is good, but Blab could have Vita goggled it.
It never looked too impressive to me. But then again almost every souls game was never impressive looking. I am pretty sure that isn't the point of any souls game. Either way the real question will be whether or not the game itself is enjoyable and manages to capture the spirit of the Souls games.
@mikehockbourns: From gameplay vids I've seen visuals are good and gameplay mechanics seem solid.. But considering you're a lemming its a waste of time discussing a PS4 exlusive with you cause if it looks amazing but plays average , then its all about gameplay and when it looks good (not great) but offers solid gameplay, suddenly visuals are more important..
But I am sure such issues wouldn't matter to you if we were discussing a X1 exclusive.. too bad there aren't any to talk about at the moment :P
The Souls series was never a graphical powerhouse. Always looked just OK, but as long as it is serviceable doesn't matter really.
mid-night, dusk, high noon.
@gpuking: thats the first screenshot i have seen with daylight visible! i thought the entire game was set in perpetual darkness.
Time changes occur while progressing through the game kind of like Imfamous: Secon Son but more dynamic because it affects the interaction and behavior of characters you meet like a new world Tendency effect and there are also varying weather effects.
Theory: perhaps less death means more light and more deaths mean more night?
The same SFX from Dark Souls lol.
It goes back even further: Demon's Souls.
That's generally okay though. I still like the classic Tekken pow and kick noises in newer games.
