they did try to get into MS's systems, and had some minor results, supposedly. i wouldnt know....my Xbox worked fine all yesterday. but MS's service was a little too secure for them...they couldnt cripple it like they did with Sony's PSN.

A lot of fortune 500 companies use Azure, it's a more complex network than PSN. Even If they bog down a few servers there are plenty more to pick up the slack, M$ has to have a better servers because if they were not protected then they would not have the businesses that they do have. I read an article a while back saying over 57% of the fortune 500 companies use Azure including Apple, these companies would not feel safe using Azure if hackers could just take it down at any second. The hackers could attack Thunderhead which is used to power XBL, but even then the workload would probably just be offloaded to the other servers in the Azure network. If they did succeed in taking down all of Azure they would unleash hells wrath and have all of these multi billion dollar companies trying to track them down.

Xbox one was not down one time yesterday. They tried but MS has too many data centers for them to clog traffic it just let you know

I just saw the news on NBC Today show and they only mentioned Playstation Network. Only mentioning PSN is a huge embarrassment for Sony. This Xbox Live "limited service" thats a few or maybe just one posted here in bold is mainly for Diablo 3 and PBS app. Xbox Live Core services are up and running. After being down the PSN is under maintenance again today. I hope the Sony guy who had his flight rerouted finally made it to where he had to go so he could get to work and resolve this PSN issues already.

I held them off as long as I could.....I ran out of lighting bolts and fire. Damn you Longshanks! !

No, it's widespread. Remember, even with 300,000 servers, SONY's PSN network is still superior to Microsoft's. Microsoft has inefficient engineers. $3 billion R&D on Xbone APU and it's a disaster compared to the PS4 APU which cost $5 million in R&D.

its all for diablo 3. because blizzard also got hit with a DDOS. everything on XBL within MS itself is fine including titanfall and FM5 dedicated servers. The unavailable servers are blizzards servers for diablo 3. but please keep twisting stuff to make godny look better in your eyes

Listen I know your a hardcore sony lover, and there is nothing wrong with that, but they got hacked, again. Just grow up and accept that its the truth. its not even a big deal, it was only down like 8-12 hours.

I have an Xbone too. I dont want to see any service be attacked. In my opinion a DDOS attack is not a hack, but anyways, my credit card it STILL on there, even from the major breech before. Not a dime missing. :D
