why are we using gameranking, megacritic- all of a sudden- wtf!!!

why is it all of a sudden im hearing use megacritic and gamerankings. That used to be a "sheep" defense but now im seeing MANY people say use gamerankings, etc. So basically im saying this proves a huge system wars double standard/bias, showing ppl really hate sheep, but the second they get the "sheep treatment" they switch sides.

Crazy isn't it.

*edit*- i just saw a thread with a "cow" calling ratchet AAA, HOW MESSED UP IS THAT, but the sec. "sheep" try to use it we get bashed. "lemmings" your not exempt either.

because this is system wars, if people cant defend their game with scores from this site they'll just go to sites where it did get a good score and use it

Totally. If you're a gamer and several professional game reviewers say that a game is good, yet one doesn't, who are you going to believe? It wouldn't do any damage to see what the black sheep said but if the reasons are ridiculous, then yea, no point. Furthermore, why was it only one gaming site to whine?

The only rule here is if you hype a game on GS, and it flops on GS, you are owned. You can still like the game.

to be completely honest I have a hard time seeing how R&C gets a 7.5 and also believe that metacrtitc and the like are more representive of the actual quality of the game. Other wise business and Usual We use gamespots scores because these are gamespots forums. doy!

Yeah, of course. Hey, let's never bring up any rumors from NeoGAF here. They have a forum there after all. Got a cool new clip from Gametrailers you wanna discuss? Don't do it here, you idiot, they have their own forum. 1UP just put up an awesome hands-on preview of a much-discussed game? Why bring it up here, can't you see that the url bar says "gamespot.com", not "1up.com"?

Ultimately, System Wars is on Gamespot and we only go with Gamespot.... oh, unless of course you're talking about anything except reviews, in which case we do our best to go with everything that's not Gamespot. Gotta love the consistency. If you're going to keep putting up that insipid and tired "this is Gamespot" argument, then be prepared to show some integrity and start applying that to everything on this forum, not just the reviews. Either that, or shut up and form a real argument.

For those whose balls hasn't dropped yet, and don't know what a mean means then don't even think of posting. So those 2 sites publish the extremes of review scores such as the xbox fanboys(gamespot), and the sony fanboys (Play) and even the moderates (IGN). That is why they are used as arguments for people.

Only if the review coencides with your system of choice. Lets face it noone cares about fairness here, they care about this so called "war". Meaning if GS was giving all PS3 games great reviews and flopping 360 ones it would be the exact opposite. The rules of system wars are old and they are law, to change them now because of ones systems lack of luck would be foolish.
