No, plenty of people certainly are.  It's one of the main criticisms of the X1 I see here and on other gaming sites.

lol gamers are even complaining about wiius price tag , so dont worry they are also saying same thing about ps4,  only the fans and collectors are not , , 

    so ya ,   and the reason im not is because im buying all 3 ,   6 if you cound 2ds 3ds vita , 

   im only getting x1 first because of line up , ,  

ps4 is gonna be my bday , and drive club will be first game

i bet they will sell this bundle at first and if sales are bad they will release a  cheaper version without kinect...

just like wiiU with $350 then a year later at $299

I defenitely see Kinect being worth the extra price.

Sony intended the PS4 to include the PS Eye and only took it out to undercut Microsoft on price, the PS4 has a hefty number of features that will go unutilized by players because of the lack of the Eye.

Slightly less powerful, Yes but Xbox One has other things that are better than what the PS4 offers. 

Traumatized lems still under the enemies spell.  You can save a few souls from time to time, but they have to take that first step.

And the sad truth is that more often than not these lems go into shock the first time they see an array of industry dominating, bleeding edge games.  Their poor little hearts just cant take the rush.

Well.. in the end.. i'm pretty sure M$ will do more with the kinect than nintendo with the forced tablet. So.... why not? *shurgs* i am going for the cheaper console down the line though.
