Why can't Nintendo/360/PC have games that match PS3 quality?

All of the top first party developers are Sony, and this gen has shown that title of "Best Exclusives" overwhelmingly go to the PS3 library. How come the other platforms didn't get a chance?

Besides Demons Souls (that is now toped by Dark souls and is not first party), i dont like any other PS3 exlusive at all

I consider games like Uncharted 1-2-3, MGS4 some of the worst and most linear, boring and limited in gameplay in the industry

So, PS3 may appeal to casual gamers that dont want gameplay and some cinematics are enough to make them go wow, but i want my games the xbox 360 style, with gameplay attached like Halo or Fable and not linear movie like jokes passed as games

Is this a "fact"? Like the Vita outselling 3DS?

it's not that they "can't" match PS3 in qualtiy its the fact that they aren't really trying to.

competition this gen is dead thanks to nintendo catering toward the non-gamer market and MS focusing on online xbl fees from multiplats and 1 exclusvie online game released at the end of the year for a spike in sales.

So your answer is: There is no motivation / competition to create High quality games to compete with Sony.

I've still yet to play MGS4 (will be playing 1-4 + Peacewalker shortly though!) and have only had a short stint with UC2 (But will also be playing 1-3 shortly), but I've played most of the other big PS3 exclusives. Personally, I'd prefer Halo + Gears over all of what I've played, but Demon's Souls comes close to Gears (sort of). Halo 3 stomps on everything in my opinion, but it's past its prime now.

Oh, I haven't played the ICO collection either. I'll be starting that tomorrow.

An excellent question. Games like Uncharted, Red Dead etc. aren't on PC. I'm a PC gamer and i know this is really annoying.

"Best Exclusives" is very subjective, but I do agree that PS3 games are of a higher quality and it is a FACT that they have higher production values and are higher at a technical stanpoint than anything on Wii and 360,they are equal with PCgames. The Wii simplyd doesn't have the power and neither does 360, if it did you would see it but I have yet to see a 360 game look as good as Killzone or Uncharted or God of War ect... I think it's due to lack of Blu Ray so there is less disc space, and the 360 just isn't as powerful and lacks talented devs.

And yes, I know this is a troll thread, thought I would join the fun:P

But everything I did say is true...
