Why comparing GTA4 to SR2 is pointless

Well the article has a point. IMO SR2 will be better than GTA4 i really enjoed the 1st.

All I know is that GTA4 went in the wrong direction. They didnt go off to far but I was disappointed with what they changed(GTA depth) and kept(same aim system).AgileNate

Aim system is fine, cover system is sluggish, most controls in GTA IV are sluggish.

yeah i loved that game.... hope there are plans for another game...

I'm not even going to lie, I thought Saints Row was pretty friggin' awesome. It was missing the GTA elements that made GTA so big but the thing about GTA is that it created a genre. You don't hear about WOW stealing elements from Final Fantasy or Call of Duty ripping off Medal of Honor.

Rockstar made a new genre of games and people keep docking the new ones on the block because they are die-hard GTA fans who think about the game in an almost religious way. I'm excited for SR2 because unlike a lot of gamers, but not all, I don't have a narrow vision and I don't just see what I want to see. It's all there in it's beautiful and gory existence.

I think SR1 was a lot of fun and I think SR2 will be the same way. GTA4 may be the critics favorite but I think SR2 will be a more fun game to play.

GTA kinda tries to take itself to serious but SR just tries to make over the top kinda fun.

Exactly! Saints Row 2 may be enjoyable for some, but the quality is low budget material.
