why consoles are beating out gaming pc's

i'm typing this on my awesome $2600 megatank gaming PC right now.

phones have innovated a lot over the past 10 years.  pc's - not as much.

1. consoles are more living room friendly.  pc's are private.

2. consoles are much more portable.

3. consoles have more mainstream titles on them, period.

4. consoles are cheaper (on initial purchase)

5. consoles (while suffering graphically) have more consistent performance

6. consoles are easier to use and more accesible for newcomers

7. consoles are better at split-screen multiplayer (aka more social)

8. lastly, nobody gives a crap about dota 2.  make episode 3 and then we'll talk.

Theres a reason why they call them hermits

I stopped PC gaming years ago when i found out how much better gaming was on a comfy couch and a 65' plasma with surround sound.

Most hdtv's have vga input connect cable from video card to hdtv restart computer.
