Why des the PS3 have such poor RAM?

256 mb? Thats quite awful compared to the 360's 512 mb RAM.

It holds back a lot of games. Why did Sony decide to handicap their console so badly?

yet just look at many of the ps3 exclusives. i dont see much of a problem

and with 512 RAM the 360 doesn't have anything that touches U2 graphics wise :o :roll:
