I played it on my friend's ps3 and this game was great, so why the low score ?? This is one of the best console racers I have ever played even though it was only a couple of hours it was at least AAA. Sure it was no match for GTR2 on pc but it was impressive none the less. So did the gs crew not play this game or just because the roster was old did they give it a 7.2?? Please discuss cause I might have to get a ps3 for this game. If there are glitches or other things wrong please say so here.

 What? NFS since 6-th installment has nothing to do with cars, physics, driving and AI. Completely cheap low quality arcades where you just watching around and cars drive themselves.
 Good racing games: NFS 5, Rally Trophy, LFS, GTR/GTL, GT series, Forza, PGR 3, Richard Burns Rally.
 I don't know about PS3 Formula One cause never play it.

Here is what gs said as the cons 1. Presentation is drab = False, The graphics look good,sounds awesome in surround and the controls are good also as well as the ai and online. 2. Difficulty progression could be smoother = False, With all the assists on it was too easy, I wonder if anybody on the gs staff has played GTR or Gt legends on pc lol. 3. Rosters are extremely out of date = True, No debate here but I am sure that could be fixed with a patch and is not enough to drop the score to a mere 7.2 imo. Looking at some of the video's it seems the reviewers suck and could not stay on the track. I even liked the online although the match making could use some work compared to live.

lol Casey I'll help you out. Lordoverfeind you are right. The game should have been rated higher. The review that Gamespot gave was incorrect. The reasons they gave for the bad are false. You luckily were able to see and comprehend the game better then Gamespot.. Please send Gamespot a well written and correct review of this game and they will replace their review with yours. Remember it must be well written. Example: The sound was like awesome and the graphics are cool and stuff.

Just wondering if they really played the game before they posted the score. Considering the gs site is a well respected site and many gamers trust their scores it seems their rep is overstated and the score should be reevaluated. If I had not played F1 personally I would have taken the gs score at face value. Did they even try the logitech wheel?? After playing F1 on the ps3 and seeing the gs score I am wondering what other scores gs got wrong and how many other games are better than the gs scores would indicate?? If the reviewer said hey I don't like f1 games or driving games period then I could understand. I posted this so other gamers with a ps3 could give me their personal score on F1 before I bought a ps3 only to be let down by some unknown glitch.

They are entitled to it just like you are entitled to disagree with it but neither of you are wrong.The game got much worse at other respected sites so it's not like GS was far off the base from the average or anything.

Regardless, if you like the techincal racing of F1, the game is AAA. It will never be considered in the ranks of GT or PGR by the majority of gamers, but for what it is, it's an excellent game.

I thought the same thing maybe the reviewer was biased and was a nascar fan and it was too technical for him with the whole left and right turn concept and real physics thing. If anybody with a ps3 and plays F1 would give me a heads up before I spend money on a ps3 I would be grateful.
