when other companies had it done a year after release of all the current gen consoles. PGR had it done for hte 360 when it came out. PD took it to another lvl with quality. while turn 10 had to take 3 years to do it. what are your thoughts?

Considering that GT5 still isn't out yet and Forza 3 will be out in a few months, it looks like Turn 10 will beat Polyphony Digital to the punch...again. :D
Because that time is better spent on making the game. In-car view is a novelty, the first-person view is always by far the best.-Pred-Alien-

you still havent got it yet, huh?..... First Person View is from inside the car!
Every sim ive played i always end up in the first person view. Semi-sims like PGR4, Dirt or Grid its the bonnet view. But offcourse, a simple picture is enough to prove me wrong:|[QUOTE="-Pred-Alien-"]

Yeah, that explains the network adapter Sony released for it (and later built in to the system) as well as all of the games on the PS2 that featured online play.
Please tell me you can come up with better arguments than that. :|

Not really... GT5 will OWN Forza 3. :DConsidering that GT5 still isn't out yet and Forza 3 will be out in a few months, it looks like Turn 10 will beat Polyphony Digital to the punch...again. :D

Hey remember that time Poly announced Online play for GT 4? Then they scrap it to give you photo mode and printer connection support to... print out car models? Yeah... what a blast of a feature that was, right? Who would NOT give up Online for printer (to one Sony printer only if I recall correctly) support?Oh noes, no cockpit view!
Why did it take Polyphony over 2 generations?
Hmm... I guess Polyphony had to copy off GTR, PGR, and DiRT. :(

Haha, and PS2 was online. Network adapter. Online Ratchet games. Socom games. Yeah, not a good excuse.

I'm not sure what your point is cause it took PD longer to implement a in car dash view.

Yeah, your argument was amazing. Citing a network adapter as your frame of reference.... Might as well say the 360 has chargeable controllers as a standard, because you can buy a peripheral to do so.Didnt it take GT 8-10 years to have a pit view?
So it took Forza 3 years to have a interior view.
It went through 2 games forza 1 and 2.
it tokk GT 8-10 yearsto get it right in Prolouge
GT when through 4 games not including all the extras.
Wow Forza is so far behind....lawlz.

Dude, there's no getting around the fact that the PS2 is an online capable system and that there were a large number of games that supported online play. :|PS2 was an online console. oh really, then why we had to spend money for a addon? which 1% of ps2 owners bought. the first run of ps2's you had to buy the ethernet adaptor which was the HDD adaptor as well, after that with the slim which most cows claim sold the most the ethernet adaptor was built in...so theres no excuse.[QUOTE="wayne_kar"][QUOTE="spike6566"] umm let seee, PS2 wasnt really a online system? common sense wins again.spike6566
play vigilante 8 on n64, thats one of the few games that used pit view,
, also race driven for snes did only copit view
so i am suprised also nascar 99 had it
In-car view is a novelty, the first-person view is always by far the best.-Pred-Alien-please tell me... What do you see when you are driving a car? Because I'm pretty sure I see my steering wheel and dashboard.
Pwned.:P I couldn't care less about cockpit view tbh. Yeah, it's nice, but not all that important imo.Whens GT getting damage again?
