Why did you buy your console??

Wii for Nintendo first party games like zelda, mario and metroid.

PS 3 for everything else, and Blu-ray for movies.

360 and ps3. Skip the wii this gen since its not for me. I played it at a friends house and gave me the eyetoy feeling. Extremely fun in the beinning but got very boring after an hour and its just not or me, plus i got zelda on the cube. I don't want a new control sceme and I think it will be filled with party games with bad graphics compared to ps3/360. I could be wrong and get one if it gets some great games I want but nothing so far.

360 I bought cause I couldn't wait for the ps3 and wanted some of its great lookig games and I've always bought sony's consoles because of the great games. Both have alot of games that i want.

PS3 so i can dryclean my cloths and make waffles

360 to play games

wii to break my TV and smash my hand though a light socket.

I bought a 360 last year around E3 so much was happening at the time and I thought it was really cool how some content was available over XBL. That and at the time it had some games I wanted to play...

Also, franchises that are now considered multiplats (from EA, UBI, etc) weren't at the time because there was no other next gen console available yet. I'm glad I decided not to wait to see how that turned out.

So basically it's games, games games, my good man.

A Sony PR guy jumped me in the Best Buy parking lot and at gun point forced me to buy my Ps3....Oh the shame,,,

Really though I owned a xbox, then MS chose to just stop making anything for, which really left me in a bind, so after a lot of though I was going to get a 360 but after reading the 3 ring problem I thought well once bitten twice shy..

The Ps3 had Blu ray, I have a HDTV plasma and thought, I get a ps2 a blu ray player and the ps3 games all in one if I get a PS3 with free online....Well you see my point ..

What really made me happy with my choice is after MS decided to release the Elite they didn't even put the 65 chip in it, you know the one that runs cooler and might, and I stress might help the 3 ring problem...

I think I got a deal,  PS2 games to play, a Blu Ray player, and the ability to get PS3 games all for 700 canadian,,

I got an Xbox 360 for online games

I got a Wii for Nintendo games.

I bought a DS only because of Castlevania. I got a PSP only because of Mega Man, and I got a PS3 only because of Devil May Cry 4. I'm getting a Wii soon, I hear they're releasing Castlevania for it.EliasAlucard

Wii for Nintendo franchises and the Wiimote control

360 for the great games, graphics, and online service

PS3 - to sell on Ebay

X360 - to play great games.

360 - I was going to wait, but I felt the need to Jump In when some of my friends bought one and Oblivion and GRAW were right around the corner. Plus the fun of playing Xbox Live with them.

Wii - Since they were going to release Zelda: TP at launch with the Wii and it was fairly inexpensive, I got it for an early Christmas present. I also got it for Virtual Console and its later games coming out.
