Uhh..I bought my console mainly for Mass Effect, and Halo 3 Co-op (also hoping the multiplayer doesn't suck.) I spend most of my gaming time on PC.
Edit: Typo.
I chose 360 as my next-gen console because my favorite genres are FPS's, Western RPG's, and Action/Adventure games, I love XBL, and because the graphics are as good as PS3 but $200 cheaper.jimmygrace
Xbox Live Gold 5 years = £250
PSN network 5 years = £0
Add that to the console and find out which is cheaper. Something people always forget, you get more for you money on the PS3 hence the bigger price.
I got 360 for the great games and because a good friend of mine from college is on Live so I would have someone to game with. I also got it because I felt Xbox always had a really strong line up of FPS games which I love.
I choose it because I wanteda new console and no other nexgenconsole was out + Icould have it withmobile subscribtion(europe have very good ones) +PDZ Ghost Recon Doa4 and PGR3 (I bought all of them for 30 bucks a game except for GR)+Knowing OblivionGears Pes6 would come out same year + that great games including Halo3, NG2, MassEffectetcwould come out .. well I dont choose a console just of a brand name or a single game..
oo yeah I knew PS3 would be 600 bucks without a good mobile subscribtion for atleast 6 month with no games exceptMGS, REsistence,FF that I really dont care aboutalthough resistancce looks a bit intresting.. Geuss what I think I made the right choice... hmm as for the Wii I gave it 10 secs and I knew I wouldnt be happy with it...
I bought a PS3 for games like FF and MGS and the ability to play Bluray movies. I love it. It's sleek and quiet.
I bought and returned, for a full refund, my Xbox 360 elite that was built July of 07 because it was freezing all the time and was loud as a jet engine. It's not the games on Xbox I hate, it's the junky hardware.
