what can i say? not my type of game and i didnt really want to use my ps2 anymore. but mostly, i had no interest in it. but i dont want to sound like a blind fanboy so ill just say that i wasnt really into zelda either (but i did rent that one), and i barely play adventure rpg type games. i like multiplayer games better. i very rarely really like singleplayer games enough so that they get to the top of my list. though there are some.

Muscic sucked, battles sucked, a BATTLE ARENA for battles? No, that sucked. Totally sucked me out. SO slow to begin, the characters really didnt catch me. It just wasnt fun for me.
I did, and it's my favourite game of all time. The worst thing is that all those people who only like games with explosions and did not buy Okami, never realised that it actually has TRIPLE EXPLOSIONS!
If you own a PS2 or have a 20/60/80GB PS3 you really should pick up a copy of Okami while you can; it really is a great game. It's long too, it averages around 62hrs. once you add in the side quests; and about 40 hrs. without them. Entertaining from beginning to end.
I enjoyed Okami a lot more than I enjoyed Twilight Princess. Artistically, it is pretty much unmatched, and it delivered a fun innovative gameplay technique with the paint brush. I don't know anyone who has actually played Okami extensively and hated it. Peoples main gripe with the game was the annoying jibberish voice overs.
I did play it, and thought it was amazing. I wouldn't call it the best ps2 game though. Everything was amazing, but the combat got pretty boring after a while.
