Why did you pick your console of choice?

I would like to hear why everyone likes there favorite console.

I'l start by telling you why I like my 360.

First of all, IMHO It is the best looking console as far as the casing. I Love xbox live, I have always loved multi-player and now I can play countless people whenever I want. The games are perfect for me. I love shooters always loved halo and I cant wait for games like Forza and Dirt. The biggest thing that led me against playstation are the controllers. I feel like the 360's controllers are made for my hand even after countless hours of gameplay. And I never felt the need to jump around like spiderman with the wii. Gladly my Xbox is still running perfectly for over a year.

I dont wish to start a fight or arguments I just want to hear some opinions.

I only own the PS3 as a next generation console, at the moment. I sold my Wii last week, and my 360 died twice--so I returned it.

I chose the PS3 because of the great RPG support. Atlus, NIS, Square Enix, Level-5, and other great developers are making great games for the PS3. I also really like the controller, as well as Blu-Ray.  

I got a xbox 360 at launch and a PS3 at launch.

because I like to play games? :)

Xbox 360: Awesome games + Xbox Live

Wii: Awesome games coming out + Wi-Fi + Virtual Console 

get dance dance rev universe game but got first with elder scroll havent play hear it was good like what my friend told me and greg k said and like fantasy alot so i got it it was real good like the 360 but will prob get other event like them too

Do I regret it: Well, I had a Wii and that was just a novelty so I sold it. I like the PS3 much better hardware wise. Just Xbox Live and better Games kind of keep me from getting a PS3.  

I picked them all because they all have games that I want to play on them. I like the way the designs, the controllers, and their respective features (Live, PSN, Blu-ray, Wimote, channels), etc.

Well I own a Wii and Xbox 360 at the moment, and I will explain why those two.

First off the I will explain why I purchased a Wii, I will go in steps or so. First off, I really enjoyed my Gamecube last gen, and a first positive note was the BC on the Wii, an owner with 30+ Gamecube discs, you need something BC. But that was more of icing the cake, the deep reason was a new experience, you may call it a gimmick, but this Motion Control perks my interests greatly. I mean the possibility of using it and what you do with it for the most part. it may not be as flashy but what it does is more than what I need. I also been a big Nintendo, I always like the creative factor of Nintendo games; whether it was Pikmin or Animal Crossing. Its unique and it something I like, so I know they will produce those types of games. Another reason, a good factor was it price tag, it helps me out not having to pay so damn much. Oh and don't foget this, I am abled to experiences classic Nintendo games from original to N64, but the motherload want was on one defining system; the Super Nintendo.

Xbox 360 - Truely, I never planned buying an Xbox 360 out, in the beginning if I had to make a second system it might have been the PS3, but determining of both end chance that (at least in a time relationship).I never really was a fan of the Original Xbox, but this console shred new light on Microsoft. A nice part of it was I could experience a few of the PS3 (subtract Metal Gear Solid 4) as multiplats on my 360, this could have been a deciding factor on what would have been. Forst example, a game I wanted was Resident Evil 5 and happen to multiplat over to the 360 which increase my want for this machine. Another game I wanted bad, which this time wasn't a multiplat, is Bioshock. These games, another multiplats and other games in general was a good reason why. Also that the price subtraction was a 200 dollars (give or take) cheaper, which was good. In the beginning I was iffy on Xbox live, but truth is that its a wonderful experience on their, giving me many good times and great friends.

wii.. didn't own any prior nintendo consoles

best choice for me right now, waiting for cheaper more efficient models of the more expensive consoles... plus more games

i like quirky/co op games, and its gonna be hard for me to decide between 360, ps3 or pc upgrade this summer

thats probably my biggest prob w 360... not a lot of quirky games other than rare

previous sony/sega/pc gamer

kind've tired of sony franchises, even the killer 3rd party games

still need more reason to get 360 other than geow,halo3,scc, banjo and too human

my most hyped ps3 game is actually LBP.. but the most next gen thing i see is crysis...

still i want something to take advantage of my hdtv, so ill prolly end up w a ps3 mainly for bluray

The RPG genre is definatly not the strong point of PS3 anymore, and FF13 could always end up on 360, now that we know Square is fully multiplatform, they announced twice that they are going fully in a multiplatform strategy, so not even FF13 is a certain bet for PS3 anymore

360, the games that most insterested me were there, the better online service, the bigger comunity, the better multiplats, yeah. 

Wii because Nintendo made it and I like there games, and some other non Nintendo games interest me

360 because My Brother wanted it and he bought it for games like Halo 3 and I'm happy that he bought it because I'm getting Bioshock, and The Darkness soon.

The Wii because Nintendo consoles are pretty consistent at making great 1st party games.

I'm looking foreward to SSBB, SMG, MP3:C, and others.

Not if you do it right. 

Xbox 360- Good upcoming library. Halo 3, Gears, Mass Effect, Bioshock. Brings some great PC games to consoles for those who only want to game on consoles. Xbox live is awesome. Oh and Halo 3.

Wii- Great Nintendo 1st party, VC, motion sensing control has tons of potential and it was all cheaper than the other 2.

One word: Halo

That and I love shooting games, and I enjoy supporting American consoles. 

I curently own a Wii and a PC (obviously).

I bought a Wii because, it had a lot of new games I want to play, the motion sensing capabilities,

and less expensive than the other two.

I also own a PC witch I upgrade from time to time.

I think it's a pritty good combination.
