Why Do Cows HATE X360 So Much?

Is it because our 2010 exclusive line-up is better (and rated better) than yours? Let's do a comparison here, shadow8585,of 2010 thus far- Heavy Rain and MAG vs....zilch. I'm well aware of Mass Effect 2 and how ****ing amazing it is but sadly it is not exclusive. Let's look at the rest of the year- Crackdown 2, Alan Wake, Fable 3, Halo: Reach, Ninety Nine Nights II, that's 5 games.God of War 3, Gran Tursimo 5, MLB 2010, Yakuza 3 join the previous two I mentioned to make 6 > 5.Not including Agent, The Last Guardian and Insomniac's next game.

Is it because we dont have to wait year(s) past when we are told we have to for major games? Honestly, its a joke than GT5 is a 2010 title. Moreso than Alan Cake and Splinter Cell? Too Human, Fable 2 and Halo Wars all had long development cycles.

Is it because our online service is superior? More money and less dedicated servers? Whoop-de-do, how superior. (This is heading into subjective territory but there's your answer)

Is it because our games sell better? Check the sales of Tekken 6, Bayonetta, Burnout, Dante's Inferno, Tomb Raider, Resi 5, DMC4, Street Fighter 4, etc. Shooters sure sell better on the 360, but shooters aren't the only genre. Why didn't Banjo sell more than LBP? Why didn't Forza 2/3 sell more than GT5: P?

Is it because we dont get charged $140 when our system stops working (fortunately never had that problem)? What if you encounter disc drive issues (not covered by the 3 year warranty). Unless you have owned your 360 for more than 3 years.The Xbox 360 is one of the faultiest gaming systems of all time.

Why I don't like the 360:

With the 360 consumers have demonstrated to all companies that you can produce poor quality products and they'll still sell and be successful. People should be boycotting products like this and be demanding higher quality. There's already way too much electronic waste in landfills and it will only get worse thanks to products like the 360.

X-Box, X-Box Live and X-Box 360 made FPS games extremely popular on consoles. That's nice and all but the problem is, there are way too many of them now and less resources are being put into other game genres. Creativity in game making is down because consumers have demonstrated to game developers that you can release the same game over and over and it'll sell millions of copies every time without fail.

You are 100% correct. You sir, are a consumer. I am a gamer. I have been so since the Atari 2600 was fresh flavor. Alan Wake? You guys were comparing it to KillZone 2.. Seeing as how it was introduced at the same E3 and all. The story always conveniently changes and the forum universe allows it for whatever reason. Of course, it's hard to care when you have every system other than the 360. It's just funny to watch your kind stand up on a soapbox about your precious Xbox.

No one will be talking about the 360 ten years from now. A console rendered enemic in international developer support and every single last blockbuster title trying to reinvent the art of reloading a make-believe gun or simply borrowing it's class software from the fact it's PC gaming's stunted little brother that gets kept in the basement until dinnertime. I noticed the hype train was considerably hush for Bioshock 2.. It hardly gets mentioned in threads.

Your thread is about as original as Madden. Your arguments, which you so profoundly profess to being fact, is shaky at best. And as a gamer, I find this endless banter about software sales tired. Plenty of games sell better on the PS3 than the 360. Quite a few games are running better on the PS3 than the 360 as well. You have no ground to stand upon unless you value the opinions of the mass over your own. In which case, you can have your console victory for my life will certainly go on unchanged one way or the other. You mischaracterize the "Cows". They don't hate your 360 so much as they simply just don't see in it what you do. Can you live with that?

Point 1) If you are not going to consider ME2 and SC:C exclusives than I could simply make that statement true by taking the word exclusive out. The 360s 2010 line-up IS better, you cannot possibly tell me those PS3 games you stated are going to be better than the 360s.

Point 2) I have already played 3 of those games. The other 2 I will be able to play before you (american version obviously) and none of those games were as delayed as GT5

Point 3) It is not subjective territory, play MW2 on 360 then PS3. Or watch a netflix movie on 360 then on PS3. Tell me which experience is more smooth (netflix especially)

1- Now here's the thing- in real life, outside of this forum- I DO consider Mass Effect and Splinter Cell exclusives. However System Wars does not give a crap what you and I think. When it comes to exclusives, the 360 is behind the PS3 and Wii for 2010 and in December- it most likely will not be any different. Now why couldn't those PS3 games listed be any better than the 360's? Because you have a Gamertag in your sig? (Judging by that GT of yours I have spent much more time on the 360 than you have ;) )

2- I've played them too- it was just a hell of a long wait. Splinter Cell has been officially delayed at least twice. GT 5 has been officially delayed once.

3- Netflix is not available here in the UK. I will say I have more lag in 10 player games of Bioshock 2 (360) than 256 player games of MAG (PS3). It's a shame that MS, with all their billions don't provide more dedicated servers.

4- A higher install base and the few million that only bought the PS3 for Blu-Ray would make that true, yes.

5- Actually my disc drive did stop working after 1 year- Sony still replaced it for free. Luckily I only had to call their customer services once- as opposed to 3 calls to MS...
