this is the gen of near photo realism and is the perfect opportunity to portray wonderful stories and experiences. when i play a game even tho i have fun with it, i cant help but feel sometimes that im wasting my time. however, if the game im playing tells me someones experiences and possibly teaches me something about life, or the imagination at least, i think i would feel more satisfied and enjoy games much more.
if devs are busy programming and coding that they forget to worry about a PLOT, then if any devs are reading this, i urge you HIRE SCRIPT WRITERS who know what they are doing. I havent played heavy rain yet but am looking forward to this game, and hope it sets a solid example of how much a story can actually sell a game.
