Why do girls think PC gamers are nerd?

My girlfriend wants me to quit pc gaming.

Strange that, how the only games ive ever had Girls play have been Sims , World of Warcraft and Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory ( The latter was my Best MAte's GF :P , she was pretty decent :lol: )

Nah, Tech savy, and using that Savyness in everyday life is "Geek" ( Though I wouldnt call it an insult. ) , Nerd is incredble passionate about a specific area of interest.

That's true, but there has to be something, something among the majority if they are willing to shell over 13 dollars a month and a large piece of their life.

As Hume says, "You can only know, what you've experience." The WoW players I've met while going to College were unusual. Their priorities were more oriented around that game, than life itself. This is from my experience.

I don't think I've ever been called a nerd despite my PC gaming habits. It must be because I don't talk about it outside from a few gaming buds, and this forum.

I don't think they're weird or nerdy. Please don't take it that way. They were great people. I just felt like if I was to indulged into their life styles, I would've had a hard time graduating from college. For example, after class most students would go to the library to study. They ,however, went home to play WoW. Two of them failed the class.

One thing I don't get is if you know a lot about computers you're a nerd but if you know tons about cars then thats fine.

There's this guy i know and he shockingly HAD a gf. He would sit on the comp for about 18 hours a DAY playing WoW....nothing but WoW!!!!!!!!!! And one time i went over by him and he was like, "SHHHHHHHH! RAIDING *something or the other...i think it begins with a K* LEAVE NOW! SEE YOU GOT ME KILLED! I HATE YOU!", forgive me for not knowing the name lol i never played WoW.

His gf came to me one day and was all shocked and pissed off at the dude and I asked what was wrong....do you know what she said..? Here's what she said, "That....retard....preferred playing that stupid World of Warcraft or w/e game over getting laid with me tonight!!!! What the...?" and I was like all O_O! And the girl was actually really HOT!

WoW corrupts your head! lol Who would turn down some action for WoW! It's like, they know nothing of reality and act like WoW is their social life. I mean maybe not everyone is like that, but that dude sure is...He freaks me out man!

I see, I cant judge, because im sure it effected my grades ... well 1 or 2 ( Did well enough ) , but I was lazy in school college anyway, stepped it up abit now for Uni.

It depends how often you game really, I mean even now when I dont play WoW often , I still play games nearly as much. But then again I never sacrificed my social life, or Gym time for WoW ... Homework.coursework ... maybe though :lol:.
