Why do hermits like Gordon Freeman, and than Bash Master Chief?

They LOVE Gordon Freeman for the EXACT same reasons they hate Master Chief.

Bungie said Master Chief stays silent throughout almost the entire series because they want the player to be reflected in him. Giving him distinct but ambiguous reactions and stuff.

And Cows and hermits say Master Chief is a silent big guy thats a waste of a character.

Than I see Hermits making the same argument about Gordon Freeman in Half Life series. And im like..Hardcore double standard?

Here you made two assumptions. Your first being, that all Hermits love Gordon Freeman. Your second being, that Hermits bash Master Chief.

Some proof might be nice, before throwing round accusations.

What characters hermits like and dislike isn't really a great topic of discussion for System Wars.
