Why do people bash systems or games?

I don't get it. Why do people start topics just to bash a game or system? Why do certian people flame and trash and bash and troll on any game, system, device made by one company? These aren't fanboys...these people are something worse than fanboys and they come from the bottom of the barrel. And it seems as the rules here changed these people came out of the woodwork ready to do the most immature childish posts and derail threads.

There are people here that like gaming on a particular system or series of systems, but you don't see them starting bashing threads or bashing every single topic against a company or device. These people I call fans. They are usually quite peaceful and will discuss something sensibly without the hate or rhetoric. Starting a praise thered for a game they were looking forward to when it does well. This is a great type of topic.

What is bothersome is thread after thread, of "This console/Company/system is doomed" , Or speaking crap on everything made by a particular systme or game series just to be an arse or because they are that insecure they need to justifiy their purchase. You people know who you are and you are the scum of system wars. there is a select group here who do this. Most get banned and come back as a levle 1 or make it maybe to level 12 before getting banned again. And there are some that slip through the cracks and should of gotten the hammer long ago. Unfortunatly the old rules are no longer in place and these fools seem to flourish here now. It's such a shame as GS used to make you think before you post or you would of been modded or banned.

What I want to know is why do these people do this? What makes them bash constantly. Why can't they just be a gamer and if they have a console prefrence, prasie the games they like? Why the hate on something they don't own or have never played? Are they secretly wanting these products but can't have them? Are they immature little kids? do they feel threatened? I just don't get it. What makes someone bash something?

I am more concerned about the people who love their system of choice so much, you have to start wondering if they are putting their software in it's hard drive. With some of these losers saying something bad about their game or system of choice is lthe same as talking about their mother or girl/boyfriend.

The only system that makes sense to bash is the 360. Just look at it, it's a pathetic excuse for a console, bashing it comes naturally to most people, it's like breathing. I have no idea with the other systems though, those cases are indeed weird, maybe the people bashing them have less intelligence than the norm so they exhibit irrational behavior like that.kuraimen

I don't know either. I find all systems and games interesting even if I don't like them.

The reason I 'bash' the 360 is because I don't like some of the directionss it appears to be taking console gaming and I think it preys on uninformed consumers.

Also, TC, bashing systems and bashing games is better than bashing other people. Just sayin'.

I don't know why they bother. But it doesn't matter anyway. Since I know for a fact that Sony and its Playstation brand are the greatest thing to ever happen to gaming and that Uncharted 3 is the greatest video game ever made. Might not be a fact to you... but it's my opinion and in my opinon... it's a fact.

As the elitist (I kid) PC player I am I don't understand why PS3 and 360 owners would squabble the way they do when those systems are more or less the same. Any arguments PC vs consoles has comes down to personal taste only as it's undeniable that PC's are technically superior.
