I think its because the PS3 is the only system out right now that has things worth bashing....wii, cheap fun little toy with mario....xbox 360 best gaming console in existance to date ( pc excluded)....ps3....3 million consoles sold after 7 months, dead in the water at 3 million sales, the surge is over, nobody wants one. what are u gonna do with it? play trusty sony blu ray media (sonys track record is flawless with beta disc, memory stick, umd, mini disc....there in homes everywhere) or mabye you can play a game thats on 360....except without the cool features like flawless online play and achievement points...and rumble. word of advice to all ps3 owners....trade it in while u can still get 400$ for it.
I have a PS3 and really enjoy it. People bash it alot because it's an "enemy" console and the fact that some people who wanted it can't afford it aggrivated others as well. The fact of the matter is that the PS3 has been out for 6 months and it's getting bashied because it doesn't have a Gears of War or Halo calibur leveled game out yet, which in all honesty is so unfair to expect a game like that 6 months into a console's life.

i said the very same thing months before the 360 released. for some reasons alot of people(mostly blind cows) expected a huge killer app title like halo to release :roll:Â
I see it simply as people like to see the big guy fall. The Sony brand has dominated the past two gens. People unfortunately want to see Sony land on their face. I personally see the PS3 doing fine and maybe even catching up.

Nobody get on the high horses. The Xbox 360 gets about as much bashing (, and the Wii (Teh gaemcuub 1.5 flop lolz amirite) isn't far behind. The PS3 is bashed because you're on a forum about the war of these three systems, where we're supposed to talk about the merits and problems of every system, and our experience with them. From time to time, a good argument in favor or against these consoles will exist. Usually, it's just monkeys trying and failing to find such arguments.
My point is, every console gets bashed. Cows are not martyrs or the poor, poor, bashed innocents.Â

I bash it because I don't find the logic to blow $700 on a system that I can get a cheaper alternative for $500. Plus, the system is strapped with the most useless "advancements". There's no need for the technology this generation. I will stick to this statement until a PS3 game comes out that uses it to the fullest. All figures in CAD. gnutux
