Why do people buy xbox 360 games over pc at this point?

I still don't understand why people would degrade themselves for inadaquacy. Right now, I could play basically any game at max setting for less than 800$. I have a toshiba laptop with 8gb of ram for 600$. I could play any xbox 360/playstation 3 game at max with 8x AA. I could play it on a xbox 360 controller. So I am wondering why people would even bother buying a xbox 360 at this point.

For Gears, Forza, and its more cheaper. Only reasons anyone needs.

1.budget.i dont want to keep putting money just to update my comp for a game

2.comeputers get viruses and that kills game time and corrupts it and that sucks.

pc gaming isnt all they say it is in the end it's opinion

People are not my friends if they are not pc gamers. 360 gamers suck at teh gaems, same for all console players actually. Put them in quakelive and they are awful.JigglyWiggly_

Several reasons. Many sports games are gimped or not even available on PC. Also, believe it or not, sometimes a console is just more convenient. I have a gaming PC and love it, but sometimes, I just have to play a game on my 360. Simple as that.

plus most of my gamers friends play on xbox.. then PC.. dont get me wrong.. if i want play mmo, or a rts .. or a roleplaying game.. I play on PC.. tps,fps,sports games and fighting games i play on xbox..

Its sort of sad really. Ive tried my hand at quite a few PC games and I just dont enjoy gaming on a PC as much as I do on consoles. They opnly game i really got into was World of Warcraft and thats because, well the game is World of Warcraft lol

A lot of my friends do game on consoles. For some reason I just cant get into PC gaming. I've tried and tried and I lose intrest most of the time. Im, not quite sure what it is but I just like gaming on consoles more.

Yes, SOME PC games get exclusive features, but those games are usually few and far between.
