Why do people hate Rico?!

That one part where u go to save Templar with the blonde chick, Rico goes guns blazin. That was just silly now.

Anyways his character bears no real significance whatsoever.

All he offers is trivial commentary, 'specially during the action.

because he's a one dimensional generic character...much like most of the characters in Killzone 2

the only characters with any redeemable quality is the helghast.

One minute he is level headed, using sense and thinking straight, the next minute he goes ballistic and turns into a huge jerk out of no where and does some really stupid things.. especially in the end.

Natko was bad enough. I don't need nor want Natko x over 9000.

He used pesticide on the foliage of helgan. That's why the world in the game looked so dead.

Well in killzone 2 he keeps ********* things up, like the end.

Though I have to wonder what commanding general would put a Rico like person on a team meant to capture someone, ALIVE!

well the overall story arc would have been good if rico wasnt directly resposible for the deaths of the two only interesting chars. and got pissed off when templar and the woman (forgot her name) were ax'd i mean come on your resposible for sevs friend being you-know-what'd then he goes all ape **** when it happens to his friend, he has got to be one of the most short sighted chars. in any decent game in recent memory

He's a jackass. He's clearly an idiot. YOu know what **** it. The entire cast is horrible. Worst group of heroes EVER. There like an even more douchy version of the Gears of War cast. The Gears of War cast you atleast laugh at for how bad they are. THe Killzone cast mostly makes you cringe with how attrocious of a group they are. Although I laughed my ass off at the ham sandwich line. That jackass should be allowed to live. The other idiots? kill em. Kill them all. jg4xchamp

Make no mistake about it, no member of Alpha Squad was useful. Send them into a bunch of Helghast and they get owned without getting one shot off. Instead, they spend their time in a long hit animation and fall down in the most ridiculous way possible.

Why does he get all the blame for Garza? Sev was too slow and Garza was going to die , no doubt. Then Natko after that. When Rico said f-it and sprung into action ..... it was glorious. (watch the video,lol) And while he made a mistake at the end , he did lose his best buddy Templar.

he's just a poorly written character with an even more terrible VA.

seriously, it added frustration to an already shallow campaign in KZ 2.

Also Sev's haircut was more manly, Garza was that guy from new MoH game, and the guy that looks like the current Garza was named Killborn instead.
