They will often dress like their target audience. Notice that you don't often find women at these presentations. The female gaming market is still small and growing.

After watching the recent GDC Awards material, I thought that the guy with the mickey mouse hat looked ridiculous, having a babe in a short skirt handing out awards and escorting winners off stage was sexist, and some of the winners did dress like weiners.

Haha you call that dressing like a slob? Its just casual clothing. What the hell do you expect them to be in? Tuxedos? These are just every day guys who make games, theres nothing special about them.

If you are nitpicking at what devs are wearing to make your point, you need to get out more. Seriously TC, there is more to life than just system wars...
