Why do some people still buy PS 3 ?

I would have buy a Wii because of it's unique and it requires you to move so it's healthy, or i would buy an Xbox 360 because the games are many and some hit title are there like Halo, Gears, Fable, and maybe... MGS 4 (someday).

So... why do people still buy a PS 3 ??

it's expensive, late, don't have enough game. My friend bought a PS 3 three months ago and until now he's having problem finding a good game, only MGS 4 is good.

Some say PS 3 is the future. Why is that?

You know what is more healthy: actually going outside and exercising. The 360 is pretty healthy, users have to walk to their PC or to their phone to contact customer support when it dies.

Because it has the better games out now and coming latter, IMO.

And, as a plus, the hardware it's worth it's price, having a BR drive and being sturdy.

In response to the first part, that is why I go running. I don't rely on a gaming console to keep me healthy because its a hobby I like to do on my spare time and not exert much force. I'm not saying I don't like the Wii in case you get confused by my wording.

The second part. The PS3 has some good titles as well. MGS4 (its already there, no maybes about it), Uncharted, Resistance, R&CF, FFXIII, LBP, Heavenly Sword, etc. Just depends on your tastes.

I bought mine to play games which I've been doing and its great.

Good question. The PS3 is such a disappointment. Its a shadow of what the PS2 was. Seriously, people need to stop buying the garb, go for a real console like the Wii or 360NiTiZ

You don't help your case by listing 4 games, three of which aren't out.

A real system like the wii and the 360 lol. The wii will fit in my back pocket and the 360 hurts my ears. Come to think of it no wonder xbots say they bought 360 to play games and not movies, cause they can't hear the movie to begin with lol.

Ps3 costs more? As of right now its the same price as the 360 when you include xbL. So the question is with no bluray player, no wifi, no key board and mouse support, only over priced 360 hdd's supported and no universal steering wheel support, no internet browser, no Free Online Gaming, but you do get RROD support from microsoft, why does anyone still purchase the 360. Oh and theres more. I know, I know the 360 has a massive library lol but yet if you chk thread on the 360 to see what people are playing there playing games I've got on the ps3. And also when people on the 360 hype a title like Halo wars, then I say xbots are grasping at straws. Halo sold out with microsoft pushing a game that is a RTS with Halo name just to sell copies.

Bioshock is coming to the ps3, and I'll put money that Mass effect isn't to far behind either since they both are from Bio Ware.

Most 360 games are on the pc aswell, while the ps3 exclusives are ps3 exclusives, so once again why buy a 360? When you can get a ps3 and a pc and be done with it.

And really people who bought a ps3 made a well informative decsion, when looking at cost to benefit. Its no secret that hardware wise the ps3 kills the 360. Its reliable, built in bluray player for that $2000 tv and freedom of choice where you want it located. My wife likes to redecorate and I can't always be sure that a ethernet hook up will be handy. while most 360 owners just looked at a 360 and said duh its cheaper, then got home just to buy a year subscription for xbl to play the game they bought along with the system. And then to find out damn the cable modem is in the office and not in the living room, well I need a wifi adaptor now ($100). Then they sit there and say damn I shouldve just bought a ps3 lol :)

I'm loving my games on the PS3 just as much as my 360 and my Wii, and believe it or not, I am waiting for other games on all the systems as well.
