Just for that? Well if it has more features of course it will be the superior version, that is if both versions end looking and running on par with each other.

Nobody's going to get obliterated in a non-competitive game like Portal.
I will, however, laugh to find that PC gamers are booting PS3 gamers from their Portal missions :D I know I will be doing that for sure.

I am a PC gamer and I am not elitist enough to do that.
ok so lemme get this straight. the ps3 version is the best because of playing with pc guys and you can use mouse and kb..... soooooo ummmm. wouldn't you just pay $20 less and get the $40 dollar pc version?
there is something about the whole logic string that i am just not getting here.
the ps3 version roxxors cuz it's mo money and does not look as good as the pc version. that's the argument? for real?
PS3 version is going to be the only console version with Steamworks, meaning itll be able to get automatic updates from Valve itself and I assume Cloud save functionality. this makes it the best console version even if 360 version ends up looking better or something.
portal one was crap imo i truely did nto like the game. i hav the xbla version the one with more missions but i hated it so much and i hated the level design. tho portal 2 looks very promising i like the new enviroment. i hope this turn out good. anyways th eps3 version is rthe version to get since i think it will support free maps thuis giving it a longer replay value.

That's quite funny considering that's lemming logic since this gen started.
Im guessing they were saying this because they where paid to, and because its marketing SteamWorks for them. We all know previous games using Source engine were always better on 360, theres no reason why Portal wouldnt be. Not that I really care anyway because ill be buy ing the PC version.

Well we aren't talking about being better than PC, TC was talking about it being better than the 360 version.
Because Ms has turned Xbox Live into a very strict, close platform that makes developing for it harder than it should be and having to jump through many holes to give what MS wants. Sony offers a much more open, friendly online platform that developers can use to the best of their ability. This is a huge thing people seem to not appreciate.

Because MS did not allow any sort of valve management software running on their system, portal 1 on 360 received an insignificant amount of updates compared to the PC version.
The same thing is going to happen on the 360 with portal 2 without steamworks.
What I'll find interesting is if the consoles versions will run on par with each other. It's one thing if the PS3 version has Steamworks, but what if it performs poorly? Hmm. That's a new thing entirely.
