why do we keep bashing the xbox 360

Okay the rrod was bad, but then it got better with the newer model, so why do ppl keep saying the 360 "sucks" ? lack of quality titles? I don't think so:

despite all the bashing, sub-hd, it turned out to be a good game.

it didn't come out yet, but it's at leat AAAE guaranteed.

it didn't impress, but still it's a decent exclusive.

another game from Microsoft that is not gonna score less than AAE

it's arguably one of the best games so far and it's only available on pc and 360

another pc/360 AAE game, except the Pc version is affected by Ubisoft's DRM.

These games, even if not exclusives did enrich the xbox 360's library and if Microsoft decided to also bring Fable 3 to the Pc, that's not gonna penalize those who wanna play the game on the 360.

How is it then that the 360 is having a crappy year?

And then you hear comments like "but the Wii has more exclusives". of course it has more, just think if it didn't, with the lack of 3rd party support, it'd be the worst console ever.

"The ps3 is on a roll". yes, they're focus on first party studios has paid off, but again it's only thanks to exclusives like God of War 3, GT5, Little Big Planet 2 and Heavy Rain that they're competing against xbox 360's lineup.

For me that like deep, long and varied games, 360 has Alan Wake, Mass Effect 2, Fable 3 and Wii and PS3 nothing, maybe Wii has Xenoblades, if gets a US release this year

I had a lot more fun with it before I upgraded my PC. It's my least favorite of the consoles

There is a difference, most 360 bashing threads are pure bashing or pure PS3 praise against 360

Most PS3 "bashing" threads are just stating that some people prefer 360 and that is considered bashing here as it seems

Guys, the wii, 360, PS3, and PC are all great platforms and they all have many great games for it. The only people who bash other systems are fanboys and a bunch of dumb teenagers who like to make fun of the wii.

The 360 had a very strong start compared to the PS3 at the start of the gen. 360 fanboys gave the PS3 fanboys a hard time about the PS3 having no great exclusives and no AAAEs either. Now the PS3 has hit its stride while the 360 has faltered and you see the tables have turned. Now the 360 is getting less exclusive support while the PS3 is picking up more. The PS3 wasn't given a break from criticism so don't expect any for the 360 either.

Actually i am considering buying GOW3 too later, after a price drop

It is just that was over so fast, that i cant justify buying right now, especially since i dont much like hack and slash games, so i would not replay it easilly, with so many RPGs and adventures around that fill my time (Demon Soul, Mass Effect 2, soon Fable 3 etc)

For me was not couple of hours difference, was a day difference (Alan Wake took me two days, GOW3 one), and since i like the gameplay far better in alan Wake, makes perfect sense, since i will gladly replay it later, something i would barely do with GOW3 that is so linear
