Why do Xbox and PS3 get more stuff?

Wii third party titles don't sell a well as they do on Ps3 and 360.

The Wii is aimed more at casual players such as kids and adults with kids. Its not meant to really have a game with online multiplayer that is gory or really complex. That was nintendos approach and it seems to be doing them just fine.

The 360 and Ps3 are mean power machines and are aimed at Hardcore gamers. You want a Online FPS? Go with 360 or Ps3... But if you want animal crossing, the wii is your system.

It has to do with projected software sales for the console. Not many 3rd party games to tremendously well. It also has a lot to do with what the developers envision for their project, such as, what hardware is most capable of helping them realize said vision.

Xbox and PS3 get more, as they bring more to the table.

wii has more 3rd party games then 360 ps3 have , , overall , lol no competition there , lol it takes longer to develope ap s3 360 game , and wii graphics arent garbage- they are when compared to the 360 because wii wasnt aiming for raw power duh only an idiot would still compare wii games to 360 games when they knew from the get go nintendo was aiming for gameplay

casual in the dictionary is any one who does not sit there hrs in the day and do it , smoker for instance a casual smoker is one who takes a cigarette and dont smoke but that one cigarette at least for anothe week or month,

a hardcore or should i say experienced smoker/gamer would play them for long or smoke lots of them over the period of a week , ,

its in the dictionary go look it up until then stop using that as an excuse against the wii , you may as well use it for the ps2 while your at it ,

dont get mad because your favored console isnt selling buy all 3 period wii is not just for kids and adults with kids i dont know how many times i see my library of games and most of it consist of t and m rated titles,

i can saftly say wii has more varied then the gc , , lets be honest rockstar among others have brought wii very violent games

dead rising chop til you drop was amazing , gory , , house of the dead nearly made me throw up lol , the guts were to much in that game

driver although without blood is very violent

sure you still have mario , ,

and sport titles and racing titles ,

but you have violent games, but like i said that doesnt exactly make it mature

Easy, the devs are lazy when it comes to the Wii.

Developers lack the drive to create wii games. By this point in the wii's life the lack of one RTS is disturbing, the lack of a serious ground up FPS is disturbing, the lack of Zack and Wiki 2 is disturbing (yeah CAPGOd, I'm gonna ***** about this forever). The fact that it has taken this long for wii games to actually start looking decent is unbelievable. Why are devs so lazy when it comes to the wii? Because they have created a trap where they have no clue what they have to do to sell on it without moving big franchises to it. Resident Evil 6 for wii only would sell because its Resident Evil. Same with GTA, same with Final Fantasy, hoever devs don't want to move their biggest franchises to the wii and that creates a problem. What do they mive to the wii. The answer is they don't know. Without big games to drive software sales, it becomes much more difficult to sell smaller one. The mature fanbase on the wii is small because devs and publishers didn't build it up when they had the chance, they built them up on the PS3 and 360. Now, if they want to change to wii they need to first spend crap loads of money convincing the fanbase to change, tons of money deving lower selling games, and tons more money than normal upping the value and appeal of these games. Take in mind this is the third year of the consoles life times (fourth for 360) and it becomes apparent that it is too late to change now. What devs have to do now is create a variety of genres and games on the wii and market them hoping to appeal to more people. They also have to get on their knees and hope that a big software pushing game comes out. The situation isn'tpretty but the devs trapped themselves so they (and us as well) are just going to have to deal.

It's mostly Ubisoft's fault for releasing all the gimmicky crap on the Wii. They never focus on the gameplay or graphics, just the sales. (Though one exception is No More Heroes, even though it didn't sell well.

Uh, taking a look at what gamers play and what sells, I have a feeling standards don't mean a damn thing to the majority of people who game.

I think because developers want to aim forward using the latest technology rather than older hardware. Oh, and third party titles don't sell well on the Wii.

Here is a list of 51 million-sellers for the Wii. 32 of them are third party. That (32) is more than the TOTAL number of million-sellers for the PS3 (1st and 3rd party).
