Why do Xbox games have such unintersting looking characters? (56K NO!!!)

1. Sam Fisher -- Doesn't his face have "buy my game" written all over it?

And when his pretty face isn't showing, it's completely covered...

The Mass Effect Man -- I'm sorry, are you related to Sam Fisher?

Ryu Hayabusa -- Again, we can't really see your face and/or hair....

Master Chief -- You don't really even have a face do you?

Marcus Fenix -- Sam Fisher/Mass Effect Man in his 50s...and with...is that a du-rag?

Wayne (Lost Planet) -- Is...that Sam Fisher in snow gear!?

I'm starting to think that you could take Sam Fisher, and dress him up in whatever suit and/or mask, and have him star in a completly new game. Hell, he is probably Master Chief.

Lost Odyssey dude (starts with a K...hmm) -- Well...at least you're different...

I really don't know what I'm trying to say here, I just kind of realized that all the Xbox game's protagonists are incredibly dull looking. They all looks like everyday people and/or don't have faces at all. Just kind of boring IMO.

And who do other consoles have?

I don't think that PS3 has interesting looking characters either. Remember though, when you are playing a video game you don't want to be represented as a dwarf Italian plumber. Ilived

Really? I find that the Playstation games have drastically different looking characters...Besides the dude from Resistance -- he IS Sam Fisher...

Because that face is the typical american soldier bad @$$ rambo look alike. So all of them will look alike. It's also known as stereotype. And in countries like japan, it's a skinny tall guy who looks as pretty as a girl does, with long hair to match.

See the stereotypes don't escape the gaming industry.

For me a characters background story>looks. Call me crazy, but I prefer to see a normal looking adult be a protagonist than a kid dressed up like he should belong in a gay parade with huge spikes in his hair or something.TheJustin

Yes, they just show the game with the default male or female models.

stupid post. first you can change the guys face in ME it has char creation. second in lost planet thats only when he goes out in the snow because its to cold. did u look at sam fisher in SC conviction? guess not.JetB1ackNewYear
