Never hate a console, it's the Developers. 360 breaking, don't hate the console, how about the ones who developed it? Wii too kiddy, blame the game makers or laziness of game developers. You should trace it to the root of the problem not just the problem it self. Hermitkermit

Yup, they better bring back the damned 20GB ver and drop the price $100 and id get one.

I dont hate it. I just find it absurd to pay $800 (canadian) to play only 2-3 games that have barely utilized the system.

Whats to hate? For $600 you get **** for games (Im not a FF or MGS fan), A blu ray player that ill never use, a controller w/o rumble, online thats clunky as hell and to slow compared to live, 1 year old ports from 360 (Oblivion, R6V) and NO DAMN GAMES. But really, whats to hate? :shock:

Loyal to MICROSOFT? Isn't that somehow like being loyal to evil?

1. MANY exclusives lost

2. 599 US Dollars

3. 4 or 5 good games

4. Half-A** ports

5. Terrible feeling controller, no rumble, stupid six axis

6. Too many japanese games, blah

The only thing good about the damn thing is that it won't break like a 360. But a 360 is 100x better.

If I'm not wrong I paid for my 360 2.600.000Bs (Thats Bolivares for you (Venezuela) wit a lot of things), and If I'm not wrong again thats like 1300$... I'm not paying more for what I need, as I don't need a bluray player, and yes things are expensive here.

I hate it becauseeven though I loved PS1 and PS2, I can't bring myself to spend $600on a game console. Icould buy it if I wanted to, but making the console that expensive for a blu-ray player, something I won't use, turned me off from the PS3. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that lots of people love the fact its a blu-ray player. Butfor me, when it became a cheap blu-ray player, it became an overpricedconsole, which is disappointing because I would love to play the new God of War or the new Ratchet and Clank (two of my favorite franchises).

Hate is a strong word, I'm actually warming up to the machine, the only thing that peed me off how Sony over hyped the PS3 and tried to claim 360 wasn't next gen.I'm all for these big behemoths competing and us gamers benefiting. But Sony tried to derail the competition with false claims 1.5 hoopla 360 is't true next gen crap, I mean geesh release your hardware and let the battle begin, don't smack talk and hope the competition goes belly up like Dreamcast.

Just because someone choses not to "purchase" a PS3 doesnt mean they can not afford it. Not all of us are mindless "brand loyalty" following fanboys. You pay $600 to play what? 1 year old 360 ports on controllers w/o rumble and a half assed game library after 8 months of existence. Not to mention it was suppose to launch 6 months earlier. Yea I had and still have my PS2 and PS1. However this is one "consumer" that wont be following the "Sony" crowd. The PS3 this gen is a joke, bottom line.

P.S. As far as not being able to afford one, I was unfourtunate enough to be able to purchase one a week after launch. Put it on ebay because it serves me no purpose. When the prices on ebay were below retail, I took it back to GS for a full refund of my $800+. Premium PS3 + Resistance + xtra controller +NBA07 and Ridge Racer = you were saying? :shock:

its an amazing console only reason people may hate it is because they either dont see the benefit of bluray for gaming and so cant justify the price.

side by side analog sticks blow for fps and driving games.

no rumble in their controller.

being forced to pay for a 1080p drive when i don't have a 1080p tv...

trying to force bluray into homes w/o choice.
