Why does everyone hate sony so much ?

Since the last few days every one has tried comparing its exclusives mainly KZ2 to ANY POSSIBLE game out there.

Now they are blaming it for stealing and cheating.

What else ? So i ask you why all the hate ?

they dont hate sony i dont think. its the ps3 they hate cos of its price which is obvious i hate it too but i got one now so who cares i didnt pay launch price.

also they hate it cos of the promises made i.e. 120fps etc which i can understand but to hate the obvious great games coming to the platform is just fanboyism. just like how any other fanboy will bash other systems games.

i own a ps3 i love it but im just saying these are the obvious reasons for the hate. it was hyped to levels it cannot reach

God. Are we really going to have a Sony pity party right now? It's not like Sony fanboys don't bash anyone else. It get's hate for the same reasons all of the other consoles do. Patriotism and other BS reasons are minor at best.

There are a lot of people from the USA on this forum and Microsoft are an American company. That's why you see a lot of fanboys and even a lot of people with high levels and postcounts always side with Microsoft instead of Sony. And of course, there's the $600 price tag and forced Blu-Ray which pissed off a lotta people.Floppy_Jim

Perhaps the Nintendo fans are more well behaved and don't get banned as much as the PlayStation fans? I've been here a while and in my experience, the PlayStation fanboys and Xbox fanboys are much more numerous than Nintendo fans. This means there are a lot of ban-dodging PS and Xbox fanboys. That's my theory anyway.

120FPS ? Bloody hell ! Which game did they promise with that ? How the hell are they gonna achieve 120FPS with next gen titles ? Allrite they can only from a few but not from the main titles !

I'm always going to hate Sony I guess. I was a huge Dreamcast fan, and Sony's lies forced Sega out of the console world.

I guess I'm just sick of hearing their stories and lies. They promise the world, and when they deliver it's half baked(trophies, home etc). I bought a PS3 and so far it's the only Console I've ever regretted...saying a lot considering I've been gaming for 19 years and have barely even regretted a single game, let alone an entire console.

Hard to say that...but it's hardware sure as hell was. It was about as unreliable as people claim a 360 is, and Sony never even admitted a problem. I had to buy 4 different PS2's, 3 DRE, and 1 the disc drive just crapped out. Say what you want about MS and RROD, at least they admitted the problem and offered to fix it free. I had to buy 4 different PS2's at full price.

Sony did well this gen making their console reliable so that can't be what he is talking about. He says the games are bad, but yet he is a sheep.

I personally don't like Sony anymore because of how they handled PS3. I grew up with PS1 and PS2 and altough I have a PSP I never liked it too much. I was really looking foreward to PS3's launch but when they anouced the $600 price tag and the tacked on Blu ray player, I wasn't amused. Not to mention the fact the console had NO good games when it launched, I didn't see a reason to spring for one. I was never a huge fan of Xbox but the 360 started looking better and better to me with its increasingly bigger game library. The 360 as far as I'm concerned is alright but it sure as hell is not my favorite console I've owned. I'm still not a big Xbox fan but I play it as its the only next gen console I own, I don't really consider the Wii a real next gen console.

I know that in recent times the PS3's catalouge has improved quite a bit and the price has dropped a lot but the fact that they keep doing stupid things like constantly releasing new SKU's but then phase them out with new one's only a few months later and the fact that they took out PS2 BC is a huge mistake to me. I will eventually get a PS3 someday after a few more big games are out and I have the funds for it too.
