Can we end this before some mindless bashing begins. People have their own opinions and I respect that. I don't like being told Halo 3 is a bad game, and I am sure cows don't like being told Resistance sucks.
I played through most of Resistance, decent game, but honestly seemed like a fairly redundant shooter to me. No disrespect to PS3 owners (good friend is one, which is how I got to play it) but its nothing particularly special. There are better shooters out there (yes I believe Halo is better) so stop settling for second best PS3 owners! Petition your game makers for better games!

It's simple, people love the game for the same reason they love halo, and it is because its tons of fun, anyone who says resistance sucks is just there opinion or just a fanboy.
1. AI, 2. Weapons are cool, 3. great lag free multiplayer with support up to 40 players complete with clans, exhaustive stat tracking, and some custimization, 3. great level design, 4. lengthy campaign, 5. best launch game on ps3.
Resistance was really fun. By the way, people who played the demo: I loved the game, and hated the demo as well.Couth_
the demo isn't a good representation of the game. the game is so slow at the start but once you get into the more chimeran environments with more enemies that are aggressive and that come with overwhelming numbers than you see how great the game is
halo CE is an amazing game and one of the greatest FPSs ever made. wish I could say the same for halo2 and 3. resistance however, it complete, poorly designed, generic garbage. seriously, I have no idea what ppl see in it.
I have Resistance and I think its very blah. It feels like a copycat of Halo in WW2, the singleplayer was blah, the multiplayer was completely boring. It just felt like I had seen it all before. The game is well polished but it just doesnt innovate, and when it comes to FPS, i need something new because i've played way too many FPS' already to settle for the same thing.
I'm getting Resistance 2 though, it sounds like it'll be great.

How did resistance copy halo? I think resistance was the first out of the 2 games to make the bubble shield, also was the first out of the 2 to make the needle grenade or whatever it was called. Also the sniper gun in resistance was better then halo in my opinion since u were able to slow down time for a few seconds and snipe the enemy down since alot of the resistance enemies moved really fast. Also all the guns in resistance were crazy compared to halo guns, u also had a gun that can shoot through walls a gun u can stick the target with a tracking device which after u did he was toast because anywhere he went to hide the bullets would follow him. Also u were able to use the rocket launcher and be able to shoot the missle in a direction and hold it there and move your target somewhere else and where ever the target aimed thats where the missle would go and u can also shoot the missile in a direction and hold it there and then hold a button for a few seconds and it would shoot out like tiny little mini rockets that would hit all the enemies in that area. Also had some sick vehicles u could drive. Ao I dont see how u can say it copied halo. Resistance is truelly underrated by alot of people but its ok Insomniac is gonna shut the critics up with resistance 2. Cant wait for june 13 to see how the gameplay plays out. Damn 8 player co-op and 60 player team death matches, wow and u say insomniac is trying to copy halo. Think again. I think they trying to set there own bar if u ask me.
