I went into best buy today and was watching somene play motorstorm at the demo kiosk with that little 27 inch lcd tv and man it looked amazing on that TV. I have the samsung 50 Inch 1080 DLP TV and it doesnt look as good on my TV as it did in the store?! Whats up with that, the demo version at best buy seem to have a much better frame rate, more motion blur effect and a lot better color and more crisp graphics. But yet on my 50 inch DLP tv, it doesnt look that good. Whats up with that?
Its actually your DLP I have a plasma and it looks stunning. Dlp's have real dark colors and your lighting has to be good.GoldenEye005

NO. DLPs can have very high brightness levels depending on your tv.
For the kid who says Motorstorm does not look good, just mess around with your settings. Color tones, brightness etc.... You should be able to get a better, or just as good, picture on your tv than the demo.
i was hoping it didn't look worse than the demo because wow that grass was jaggy. is the framerate as bad on the real game as it is in the demo as well?
One thing you need to know about DLP's... they suck. They suck. The best quality picture you can get are from tube tv's. DLPs at least from my experience look too blurry and dark with ugly colors.
