I paid $600 flat and wont be nickled and dimed to death like some "other" consoles do. How much is XBL again? add it up over the life of the console. oh wait, xbox720 will be out in a year or two... I also like the fact that I will be able to give my PS3 to my son when the PS4 comes out, can't say the same for the 360.

Oh please, we pay less then 5 bucks a month for far better online service. You get what yea pay for. And sony also has micro transactions, no ones making you buy them.

Huh, last I checked I haven't spent anything on my 360 other than games, controllers, and an HDD. If only 360 owners were forced at gunpoint to be 'nickle-and-dimed to death' AND if Sony didn't do the exact same thing, then that lame statement of yours could have had some merit behind it. Oh, about that Live subscription fee. I'm getting what I paid for. Even Sony states that Live is superior. And if you're going to keep on tacking unneeded things to teh 360, why not toss in the cost of a new Six-Axis when the rumble version comes out for the PS3? You say you'll be glad to give your PS3 to your son in the future? Well, I look forward to playing my games online then, as I don't have to worry about the non-dedicated servers being down by then.

It's debatable which service is better. It depends on personal choice. Obviously lemmings are going to like XBL and cows are going to like PSN. They're both good in their own ways. exactly i really dont care if blueray wins format war unless game developers want to priceout people from the market they will be fine with dvd for this gen i mean if microsoft launched with HD-DVD it would cost me another $200 and i wouldn't have bought it.
the ps2 couldnt go beyong the limit of dvd9 storage space and neither can the 360. they cant even compress the data to be streamed off the HDD since its not universal. what was MS thinking?ussjmeOk fine go spend an extra 200 dollars instead of swapping a disk. "But i don't want to get my finger smashed in the system tray" lol lazy ppl
this storage problem is prolly gonna be worse 5 yrs from now. but judging from past history, MS they will prolly completely abandon and stop support of the 360 by then. the ps2 is ready for any size game world or any amount of textures a game can throw at it. even if the ps3 didnt have blue ray, devs could simply compress and then stream off the HDD. future games on the 360 cannot do that. ussjmewow so Microsoft had one system before the 360 and now you know the life of the 360 wow i guess ur name should be future009 too huh?
