Yeah me too, of course he definitely has some skill and lots of luck on his side to be able to kill what amounts to the population of a small country´s worth of mercenaries. Thenh again, Indiana Jones sort of does the same thing so...

Yes,well,for a regular joe he certainly kills a lot of people... And at the end of the game the body count is so high that would make a mass murderer like Charles Manson proud(and humbled by Nate´s might)...
While I don't think Uncharted 2 is GOTY, there's reasons for it to be graphics king. Unfortunately, the reasons really only narrow down to it's presentation and really nothing much outside of that.
If you've played it, it is clearly one of the best games of this gen. In terms of technical innovation, it is clearly THE best... Naughty Dawg made a game that legitimizes video games as a valid story telling medium w/o sacrificing gameplay. Definitely GOTY.
Why does Uncharted deserve GOTY? Well, if you ask me, I don't think it deserves GOTY. The only thing it did that was different from the first is improved graphics and multiplayer... they didn't even bother to refine the story...I've said it several times and I'll say it again, the plot development and the concept behind the plot itself was the same as the first the game. It a fun game to play through...but GOTY? Never.. Demon's Souls deserves that title imo....its the best and freshest game I've played all year.

Opinion is a very sweet thing. Is there a non opinion-based way to look at this topic? I'd agree with him, this year didn't provide any serious competition so why not?
i own all 3 consoles and i perfer 360 over ps3. in fact ps3 is maily my blu-ray player. That being said, Uncharted 2 deserves game of the year award becaues its a damn fun game. I remember myself saying while playing that game " WOW THAT WAS PRETTY COOL" . Game has lot of cool in game cinamatic momenents. LIke running away from the truck while shoting at it or being chased by halicopter and Tank. I wish that game came out for 360 as well. Some games are so good they need to be enjoyed by all gamers with fanboyism put a side!
