There new reviewing system isn't 10 = perfect. Instead it's called "prime." A score of 10 is much more possible than it was with the old system, so keep your eyes peeled for the game that deserves it.

actually I do think THPS3 deserved an amazing score. It is pretty much the perfect game about skating. It turns the world into a big skate park. I would have given it a 9.7-9.9, but Iunderstand why GS gave it a 10

Thank goodness, no more of that ridiculus "no game is perfect" cop-out.
Because 10 means Prime on Gamespot. And the criteria for a game to be "Prime" is that the game must be "as perfect as a game can aspire to be at its time of release." and "a game earning this score could not have been improved upon in any meaningful way. ". No game released since the rating system change has met those criteria, and there won't be one for a while, probably.

It felt like more of the same. Of the original 4 Pro Skater games, it was my least favorite
If a game with no bad section can only get a 9.5, its unlikely anything will, for all intents and purposes 9.5 is the highest score any game will probably get around here
Because a 10 would basically labled a "perfect game". There is no such thing. Every game no matter how great and grand it may be, has something that isnt quite perfect and therefore you probably wont see a 10 for a long time if ever!

No kidding. I have never enjoyed an RTS before World In Conflict, and after playing for a few days now, I seriously cannot think of one thing wrong with the game. It installed easily, runs fantastically/looks incredible, has really exciting, fast-paced gameplay, the voice acting and story are great, I haven't experienced one bit of lag online, short load times...
If anything gets a 10 this year, it will be the orange box. It's the best value out there and it comes with such a stellar lineup, there's nothing that can hold a candle to it. TF2 is simply amazing, which just further puts the icing on the cake...and all for 50 to 60 bucks....
