I keep seeing people posting about 360 dying left and right, every now and then. Some of these posts are by people with old account and some by 360 owners. People may moan about its hardware failure whether it is rrod or something else. So why don't lemmings just ask MS for a recall instead of waiting for it to die before calling?

If the MS extends it RROD warranty to a 4th year, I believe that will confirm the RROD was never fixed. And a recall may be necessary.

If the warranty is 3 years, and if the 360 doesn't die within that time, most likely it's fine. So why send a perfectly fine console back if it isn't even showing signs of death?

With all the hardware failures of the 360 I don't understand why there wasn't a major recall (unless there has been a lot of pay-offs to some politician's to keep this from happening). If this was any other product there would already be a mandatory recall already.

I know the car industry would not have tolerate it.

Tell me about it, the car industry has lemon laws. If they had something like that in place a lot of people would be qualifying for it.

fortuntly it's not car industry it's the gaming industry, in car industry with ahuge problem

like this ppl could die,in gaming industry it's just 2 weeks with out games.

and MS is in a big competition with sony right now, so they feel it's better to keep it

in the background and not to focus on it.

no one need that kind of attention, and lemmings are ok with it.

If the MS extends it RROD warranty to a 4th year, I believe that will confirm the RROD was never fixed. And a recall may be necessary.

Is that how you live your life? You're just waiting to die? I live in the now, my friend. Carpe diem, gamenux, carpe diem.
