i find it kinda sad that mostly only console exclusive games get a hype sticky because if flops or tops, fanboys from either side will be wailing and a sticky is needed to keep the order.

Yet when a multiplat game comes along, people dont really care to hype a score as much because its not as damaging because if it flops, it will on both systems or if it tops, both console owners will enjoy it.
I think noone cares to hype multiplat socres because their can be no attacking another console side if it fails or something.
i think this is sad....

because it's not hyped that much, unless it's GTA or Assassin's Creed or things of that nature.

Because we love exclusives.

Multiplats are only for developers who want more money.

Exclusives make or break a system.

More exclusives mean less happier gamers, but a greater level of happiness.

Yeah, it sucks when you get laughed at when you get a bad exclusive on your console.

But its really exhillerating to get a really good exclusive that everyone envies.

Yeah, I love laughing and lems when they get a really bad exclusive.

And hate it when the ps3 gets a bad exclusive, because its a form of revenge.

I have both a ps3 and 360, but I dont understand why I prefer the ps3 so much over the 360.

im actually the same way, i think its cause my ps3 has blu-ray and the cell lol im a techno fiend
i think sony had actually tried to push its console for a longer life cycle then 360 whereas the 360 has the same pc architecture, why do u think alotta pc and 360 games come out at the same time, its just easier to develop for....

Because fanboys don't care about scores as much if they don't get to rub it in someone's face. Gamespot in general has much more younger posters then sites such as Evil Avatar, VGevo, Penny-Arcade, and Neogaf and accordingly you see much more of an emphasis on hype threads and a fascination with review scores on exclusives because the 12-17 year olds on Gamespot think that their console affiliation is some sort of farm animal gang (i.e. "Yo, I hate sheep, why are us cows so much cooler") and they view the other "gangs" as rivals. It's pretty funny.
