Why dont multiplats get hype threads.

I know hype threads are typically used for "ownage" from one fanboy group to another, but it still seems like big multiplats should have hype threads just to be interesting.

There is no need for hype threads when they are multiplatform. The hype thread is for when fanboyspretend there was no hype for the game. It still doesn't work cause they underhype a game plus there are games that don't get threads that are hyped and later the fanboys fall back on "where is the hype thread?".
