Anyone else want to comment?360wiiPS3gamerThese threads have gone on and on. You have two camps.
A. People with logic... you seem to be one of them.
B. 360 owners condemning sony for leaving out BC for the entry level ps3. (People that aren't even in the market for a console in the first place.)
perhaps.
I don't think most people will even think to ask if ps3 has BC or not. It's just a given now.
But when they get home they will be PISSED. some of them at least.

im in the market for a ps3 and i dont care about bc, its called i have a ps2. idk who doesnt by now seriously u have no excuse not to have a ps2. dropping bc means lowering the price is fine by me when i already have my ps2 to play the games on that i never play anymore anyways!
So what's wrong with the X360 Core/Arcade then? Talking to the fanboys.. *mostly cows*OhSnapitz
I can answer that. Red Ring of Death!!!!
So what's wrong with the X360 Core/Arcade then? Talking to the fanboys.. *mostly cows*OhSnapitzThe biggest problem with the core is its existence making the hardrive not standard for developers. The second problem with the core isthe lack ofstorage memory. Who really wants to buy memory cards for this generation ?It is either memory cards or slapping a hardrive on it when they find out they need space , and the pro is so close in price that it doesn't make sense to go with the core. The arcade at least has a memory card , but it is still probably not wise to go that route.

Yes... but just like the argument with the PS3 40 gig'r, the 360 core/Arcade isn't marketed for the "hardcore" gamers... It's made for those casuals that maybe want to play Halo 3 or Gears, but not fork over all that money. $279 ain't bad for the Arcade when they start selling it...
That the 40GB PS3 was mainly made to attract the casual gamers that dont give a crap about BC. And that the 60 GB (Europe) and the 80 GB(USA) are getting a price cut to seem attractive to the hardcore gamer. Who agrees?360wiiPS3gamer
How would you know that casuals don't give a crap about BC?

The arcade wouldn't be terrible because of the memory card , butjust not a good idea. The 40 gig ps3 is for casuals , but also for hardcore gamers. Please Log In to post.
