Why dont PlayStAtion or Nintendo have the Classic library and rich IP history that Xbox accumulated in so little time.

PlayStation. Let’s you play a few ps2 classics on lazy emulation...

Nintendo let’s you play a limited selection of SNES and NES games.

Xbox let’s you play a wide array of classics ranging from n64, PlayStation (symphony of night) saturn, Dreamcast, Xbox original, 360 etc

It is truly the machine with the greatest library of classics hands down. Debate current gen exclusives all you want but give Xbox it’s just desserts

You're too hard on Nintendo. They've got an amazing library behind them, even from this gen by the looks of things. Still, like you say, It would be good if more of their classics were accessible and affordable, or even available as remasters because it feels like a lot of people are understandably turning to other, less legitimate means of playing them.

@sancho_panzer: I am a Nintendo fanboy but there is no reason with a yearly subscription Nintendo won’t let us play gameboy, gbc, gba, n64, and GameCube classics they are just greedy. Look at gamepass

OP ps4 as symphony of the night too and its better graphics than the xbox version and has more content of the psp version more bosses an stuff.

Like retro ps4 and ps vita has got you covered. Play PS2/PS1 classics and stream ps3 games via the cloud.

Nintendo has got ton of good classics on the switch and released some nice mini consoles and has 3ds/wii/wiiU virtual consoles they got your back.

Xbox one is dog shit emulation and its complete crap I don't want to play my games like that.
