Why DS will kick PSP in the ass in 2010 [56k]

Golden Sun DS. The PSP has absolutely nothing coming out in 2010 that is on par with this game.

Runner up: Dragon Quest IX. Not officially slated for 2010 but largely expected to be a 2010 release.

2009 release: Modern Warfare: Mobilized.

PSP is dead. Not even Gran Turismo could save it.

Not really bothered about either of them tbh.

Resident Evil is the only game I will be getting for the handhelds probably.

The PSP has been dead for a long long time, it's a great handheld which is underrated, but those dang pokemon games :P

I find it funny that no matter how much crap people talk about PSP, I still play mine alot more than my DS...I have more games on DS, and yet...PSP is still in my hands more often...

Its true. Doesn't mean people can't enjoy the slow but steady amount of good PSP games.

Its ok that oly 10 A/AA/AAA psp games are comign out this year as to 50 or more on DS/DSi

The PSP isn't dead quite yet, but with the Go being a joke and threaten to drop by retailers, and sales of PSP in NA being in the low 3-4 million a year While DS sells 3-4 million in a Quarter Year, in certainly may be in Limbo

Golden Sun was a big disappointment for me... I really really had a lot of fun with the original games, but when it was the time to end that amazing story what did I get?? One of the weakest endings in story of RPGs.

Not hyped about its remake now.

DS graphics suck, so all they come up with is that rpg japanese shovelware that sux, cartonish unisteresting and all the same thing

At least i can play MSG, GoW, FFVIICC, lbp, and etc etc, all of em real franchises, DS should come up with some beter real games, not that childish stuff

You ever notice the good games coming out on PSP all happen to be from Japanese devs? I mean, there is little American presence on the platform and very little things that selll it to americans other than the whole "girlz play too" thing right now

the only ppl i know who buy PSP's in TX are ppl who want the very good connectivity between it and their PS3 or ppl who want a lot of PS2 IPs on the Go

everyone else i know buys a DS for portable gaming and a iPod/Zune/SmartPhone for multimedia (or a netbook too)

Does Sony think pumping out a Socom Rehash evey year on PSP is marketing it to the average american?

I'd rather have Final Fantasy Agito 13, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Persona, and Persona 3 than Golden Sun. Overrated RPG IMO. And yes, I did play it years ago.

You see that is great and all, i'm sure this thing where your opinion differs from mine ,the critics, and the majority of consumers will happen again to someone, but i was discussing system wars, and how the critics/fans have chosen DS over PSP

I understand that you haven't. Or that you have both. That's great. DS has a lot of replayable games too, Peggle, Tetris, Planet Puzzle League, Mario Kart, Metroid Prime Hunters, Dr. Mario (DSiware) just name a few (Elite Beat Agents also) I like those
