why FF14 might stay ps3/pc

1) Sony owns a part of SE, because of it them and SE should have close relations

2) FF13 is partly exclusive

and i mean its exclusive where FF sell the most and that be japan

3) FFv13 is fully ps3 exclusive

4) for mmo they will not use psn or live and not going through live would be a pain because of ms

5) FF11 did not do so hot on 360, and yes this maybe due to the fact that it was released years after but never the less something to think about
yes square has not released any ps3 games yet while they have released 360 games but none of them where any major franchises, also they are mostly funded by square not developed by them, except a few of course LR is the only one i can think of and maybe ST4.

What makes you think SE lost money off FFXI 360? The PC platform version will be so interchangeable with the 360 that most japanese devs consider it the same platform.

Not to mention - The game is already shown running on Xbox 360 (here)

I've actually been wondering why the 360 doesn't have an MMO from this gen on it. Maybe there is one I'm missing but the console is constantly praised for being the system to own if you want the best online experience, yet it has no MMOs aside from FFXI at which, apparently, 360 users are terrible.

I own a PS3 and will be playing this on PS3, but I hope it does come to the 360.

I've been playing FFXI for over four years off and on, and I know alot of players that play on 360 and they are good players, know how to play, and love Final Fantasy. I'm sure they would love to get the chance to play FFXIV on the system they aready own.

I don't think the 360 will get the game at launch, but it will probably get it in a bundle with the first expantion, and to be honest thats good for everyone. Square servers work with everyone playing together on the same worlds, no matter what system you are playing on. More systems equal more players equal better for everyone.

Like I said before, I have very high hopes for this game. If they keep the systems and story driven gameplay and job classes from DDXI and bring it all up to speed with a more modern MMO gameplay style, the sky is the limit for this game. It has the possibilty of being nothing short of epic.

Just another thought on this...

One thing when play FF online, is you need to leave your system bias at the door before you log in. Everyone plays together, everyone works together. IF you never played FFXI, then you may not know. Its not like WoW, you need friends, you need your linkshells. You work with people. You make friends, and you also can make enemys.

For example... in therory...

Your a PC gamer, leveling Dark Knight in a party... Paladin in your party is playing on 360, and your Redmage/Whitemage is in the backrow working his butt off on a PS3... being your meleeing and you have free time, you start rambling about how 360 sucks, and PS3 sucks and PC is the only way to play... what do you think happens?

O people it will go on 360 becuase Final Fantasy 11 is on 360 and it is designed to replace final fantasy 11.

THe main reason for this is because Xbox 360 players are underlevelled, have bad subjobs, and don't know how to play the game. They don't even have the renkei chart memorized.

I can see it being released on the xbox 360 just with a bundle of the first expansion.

Oh and TC... you bulletin point number 4 is rubbish! FFXI is just fine and I am pretty sure MS isn't upset that they are going through playonline.

Link please on the whole 360 version of 11 sold badly? i would really like that proof so many cows are claiming this as of late and the one that tried to prove it said check the vanadiel census which i did and no vanadiel census from 1-8 mentions platform specific stats. your still using PSN when you use the service nothing changes there, your still using xbox live and microsoft doesn't make it a pain SINCE you dont have to have gold to play mmo's.
