This makes me laugh, since Starcraft is a national sport in Korea. I guess if you were referring to the kids that started gaming in the last two generations, then I'd agree.
So you're saying that Halo Wars will be better than Starcraft 2 because people or more familiar witht the Halo universe? Why does it matter how familiar something is? That doesn't make it better.

You're joking right? If you think most gamers aren't familiar with the characters, storyline and overall Starcraft universe, then you must be living under a rock. I can't help but have a feeling the SC2 will ultimately turn out to be a considerably more successful game then Halo Wars, even though Halo Wars will be a good game in itself.
Besides, most people are very used seeing Halo games in the FPS genre. Anybody who knows SC already knows what to expect from the sequel.
man, some people are just cluless comparion one of the best franchises ever in the system meant to be played to... well I'll better don't say anything more :)
sorry but you have to face the truth starcraft is going to surpass halo wars. Their is so many reasons to this but the main point is that the mouse and keyboard control scheme offer surperior controls for an rts game (shooters as well) then its console counterpart. just because you like certain story elements in a game does not make that game good. an example of this is Psychonauts a amazing story with okay gameplay.

True, but you gotta buy individual jets for the carriers, that was annoying -.- Yeah, Proton Cannons were insane. Surrounding your base with 2 or 3 rows of them meant you were pretty much indestructible. Anyway, I hope TC meant for this to be a joke thread.

C'mon now, as much as I love Halo Wars, I read this title and laughed on the floor uncontrollably for about five minutes. Halo Wars will never never never never be better than StarCraft 2.
