Why hasn't the Xbox 360 improved after 2+ years on the market?

The Xbox 360 has been out on the market before the PS3 and Wii, and yet it hasn't evolved in the graphics departement since its initial launch. Were still seeing the same ol' oily greased brick and grass textures that keep getting reused over and over since Perfect Dark Zero. However, the PS3 has shown a big improvement in its games from RFoM to the graphic console king of today, Uncharted. You would think that with the big lead in the race, the 360 would have shown something better by now as well as fixing the long overdue RRoD problem. These little mistakes are just the tip of the iceberg on why BluRay is a much needed necessity in gaming.

a lvl 1 with 2 posts and very stupid points where he will get flamed.......very nice very nice. umm yeah cod 2 was a launch with great graphics then gears, then bioshock, then mass effect. so you dont even make a valid point for graphics, and yes the wii has a game with just as nice of graphics as mass effect :lol:

If you prefer the 360 over the PS3, fine, but saying that Uncharted sucks is just plain ignorant and foolish.

Last I checked, 2/3 of the new consoles are doing just fine without Blu-ray.

The truth is,even if 07 for 360 was a good year (about games releases), 360 lost 2.3% of the worldwide sales compare to 06!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont know what it didnt improved more,sale even more than 06 with so many games.

It has, I have no idea what you are talking about. Check games like PGR4 vs PGR3 and stuff like that...

guys be real, there's no better looking game than Gears of War which is ONE YEAR OLD!! (btw it's a great game)but look at the PS3, after a full year the visuals have really improved, (look at Uncharted), hell, even the Wii GFX has been improving(look at SMG). but the X360?

we hoped ME would be the "graphics king" but it couldn't do it, Gears of War is still the graphics king for the X350 and will stay until the next Epic title.
