[QUOTE="360_Degrees"][QUOTE="dave_ps3"][QUOTE="360_Degrees"]Correct me if I'm wrong, but why have there been no guerilla warfare games?
I think it would be pretty sweet to play as a squad of guerilla's using vantage points to take out your enemies, being out-numbered but still being victorious, and having to conserve ammo because of the lack of funding.
Sure, it might not sound very fun or appeal to some people, but it could still be executed very well with the proper developer.
And example would be the guerilla Afghans (supplied by the United States, Bin Laden was actually an ally with the U.S. at this time) fighting against the invading Soviets during the Cold War.
Or it could be a fictional war, either way would work.
Does anyone think this would be a good switch-up from World War II games?

What about every generic FPS when one man manages to mow down thousands of enemys. Would that include as outnumbered but still victorious.

First off, you'd have a squad because they travel in squads/groups.
Secondly, it would be realistic because its a warfare game.
Thirdly, you'd be fighting for a certain country (in YOUR homeland because they usually are repelling enemy invasions).
Fourthly, funding would be poor so you wouldn't be firing thousands of rounds per level or having heat-seeking missiles or tanks everywhere.
And lastly, it would require quite a bit of stealth to gain the upper-hand in combat on your opponents.

GRAW.

Yeah, as I was making this post I was thinking about GRAW.
Although in GRAW, you are invading Mexico to liberate it, and you are supplied with a ridiculous amount of high-tech guns (not a bad thing, just not what guerilla's are usually equipped with).
But that ****of squad-based action and realism is what I had in mind.
